Thanks to a suggestion by @Sebax and the hard work of @libregkd, we're really excited to roll out a new feature to our site. For years now, users have been able to specify their gender in their profiles; the gender options, however, have been limited to 'Male' or 'Female'. While there has also been the third option of 'Unspecified,' these options reflect a very limited view of gender and supports a gender binary that would potentially exclude many of our members.

A podcast episode? On time!?

This week @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn are joined by @al215 and @Llave to discuss some of the recent news coming out of Nintendo in the past few days. Their new Legend of Zelda title, slated for release on the Wii U, has been pushed back into 2016 and will not make an appearance at E3 in June, they're entering the smartphone market in a partnership with popular Japanese developer DeNA, and are working on a new mystery console codenamed the Nintendo NX. Given their precarious state in the gaming market, and continuous decline in the last few years, could Nintendo be headed for trouble? Only time will tell!

We also pay a quick homage to Hideo Kojima's forthcoming departure from Konami and wonder what that will mean for the Metal Gear Solid series.

As always, we answer user-submitted questions! @Shu gets spiritual with us, @Graxe pitches the plot to Castaway, and @Amaury asks about our first gaming experiences.

Wednesday episode because we had some server troubles last night!

This week @Kairi ♥ joins @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn to share her experience with the Final Fantasy XV demo that released with the PS4 remaster of Final Fantasy Type-0. We begin, as always, by mentioning what little Kingdom Hearts news and updates we have, which includes speculation on what we'll see later this year at D23 Expo Japan 2015.

From there we go through the entirety of the demo, which focuses on the main cast of characters saving money to fix their car by hunting down Behemoth. We cover our thoughts on the gameplay, which borrows heavily from the Kingdom Hearts series, technical issues within the demo, our thoughts on the characters and voice acting, the Ramuh summon, and how the demo has helped (or hurt) our feelings about the long-anticipated title.

Next up, we answer user-submitted questions! @Shu asks us where babies come from, an anonymous sender asks what non-video game franchises we'd like to see enter the gaming medium, and @Graxe teases @Misty about her struggles with Seymour Flux in Final Fantasy X.

The KH-Vids Podcast coming back at you, on Tuesday!

Joined by @Plums, the KH-Vids Podcast crew ( @Misty, @libregkd, and @Calxiyn ) sit down to cover two of gaming's biggest conferences/events, GDC and PAX East, and all of the exciting announcements to come out of them!

We begin by discussing the enormous presence of virtual reality at the events, the neat demos and specific information Sony dropped about their VR headset, the Morpheus. We follow the Sony track by highlighting the features coming to the PlayStation 4 in their 2.50 firmware. From there, we mention some of Microsoft's announcements and @Misty once again gripes about Fable Legends. Valve had some time in the spotlight as well, with their new lineup of Steam Machines and the Steam Link, their new streaming box. Following those tech giants, we cover some of the smaller announcements that interest us specifically, including (but not limited to!) the Maxis shutdown, Shadow of Mordor being named Game of the Year, Metal Gear Solid V and the PS4 port of the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster's release date, and Rock Band 4!

Next up we answer user-submitted questions! @Graxe asks what we do if fungal growths appeared on our bodies, @Shu wants to know our favorite nationality, @Quilligan poses the harrowing question of our Favorite Video Game Of All Time™, and @Misty has the group reminisce over some Rock Band memories. Finally, we congratulate @Sebax on his Top 5 victory!

The Walt Disney Company Japan announced today that it will stage D23 Expo Japan 2015, a special event for Disney fans created by D23: The Official Disney Fan Club. To celebrate the Expo, among the other events taking place, a Kingdom Hearts fan event will be held on November 3rd at Cinema Ikspiari, Tokyo Disney Resort.

More information for the event, Kingdom Hearts―The Theater (working title), will be posted on the official Disney website starting in late April.

The Expo will take place over three days from November 6 to November 8, 2015 in Maihama in Tokyo Disney Resort.
