Last weekend, Square Enix staff member, Shinji Hashimoto, known for his work as the series producer for Kingdom Hearts and the brand manager for Final Fantasy, attended the Lucca Comics & Games convention in Lucca, Tuscany, Italy.

While there, he was part of a panel in which he talked about Kingdom Hearts and various Final Fantasy games. KH13 has provided a summary of the Kingdom Hearts portion of the panel:

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (or ESRB for short) today has rated 'Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue' E10+ for Fantasy Violence and Mild Language, similar to every other KH game (with the exception of the original 'Kingdom Hearts' and the GBA release of 'Chain of Memories'). The rating summary can be read below:

It looks like with the final manga of the manga for KH II, comes the first volume of the novel!

According to Barnes and Noble, as well as Amazon, Kingdom Hearts II: The Novel Volume 1 is being published by Yen Press. The novel will cost $16 (Currently 46% off on Barnes and Noble) and will be released on June 20, 2017.

Anyone planning on adding this to their Kingdom Hearts collection? I know I am!

According to Square Enix's website, a new Play Arts -Kai- Sora will be released on January 30, 2017, and will cost $150 US.
