you've got to be kidding me, but I know you're not because this always happens

So starting this semester at college I have all this **** I have to do online, and it seems that anything that could go wrong has gone wrong. I had to register for this online math program, and to do this a code came with the book that I bought for the class, but when I registered there was an error, so I tried again but since you can only use the code once, of course it won't work again. When it showed the error it said I would get an email. It's been more than 24 hours and I still haven't gotten an email, and an assignment is due tomorrow. I don't know what the hell I'm going to do. Actually, I do. I'm probably going to have to buy the code again since this company can't properly maintain their website. I've been on hold for like half an hour trying to get through, but I have the distinct feeling they're going to tell me that they can't help me and I'll have to buy it again.
Another problem is this dumb Blackboard thing or whatever it is. I just checked it for the first time, and where it shows the courses I'm enrolled in, it doesn't show the Philosophy course, and the guy said that you should be enrolled in it online if you signed up for the class before Monday. I signed up a month ago. So now I don't know what to do about that. I'll talk to the guy I guess, but I mean I have no clue.

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

**** online access codes man. They're the reason it's really tough to buy used or rent.

Which reminds me, I have a book to return and re-buy. v:

But yeah, college will teach you to demand people fix things. Like waiting on the phone with customer service/seeing someone about Blackboard. You paid for the textbook and you're paying to go to the school so they're obligated to help you.

I doubt your professor would penalize you in the first week, especially if you explain your situation. Depends on the professor though I guess.

She did say that if there were any problems to let her know and she could work something out. I'm less concerned about not having the work (since there's nothing I can do about it until this is sorted out) and more concerned with how this is going to be sorted out.

I did shoot her an email earlier letting her know what's going on. I got okay vibes from her for the 50 minutes I've been around her, so I don't think this is going to be much of a problem with her. She seemed pretty understanding.

Ughhh dude sorry about all that. Sucks. I hope you get it worked out okay :c

I haven't run into any problems with the online work yet myself (except my physics prof hasn't put up the homework yet :L) but they ****ed up my I.D. stuff at move-in and sent me all over campus to get it fixed. I still won't be able to get mail for another week or so because I wasn't in their mail system or something. Sighh. Guess there's no such thing as a smooth start.

If you're not at community college, it's at least 5x worse when you are. People just really dun give a fook. :|

With that being said, I'm so glad I have teachers who mostly oppose the online homework access codey things.

Yeah that's a benefit of community college, they know everyone is poor so usually only the ******* professors require access codes.
