Mainly the part with the Dark Links trying to take the Triforce.

Dom's death in Gears of War 3. It was something I never saw coming and it almost brought me to tears. It also didn't help that "Mad World" was playing while all of this was happening.

Oh gog this scene was just ffffffff.
It was heartbreaking to see Shiki beg like that, and Neku was just
overall this was probably one of the first of the many gripping things about TWEWY's storyline ;~;

After getting slapped in the face with a huge twist, I'm happy to say that this final mission saved me from calling the first Assassins Creed mediocre and boring :-) This has to be one of my favorite final boss battles of all time and my favorite moments in video game history.

 

(Going to avoid any from Kingdom Hearts, as I'm sure there are threads in the KH sections about that).

The first that come to mind are probably any involving Bastila in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. In particular:

Anyway- I've always been a fan of sad scenes, I always love those that are very heart felt and emotional. I could list several right here from Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid, but I feel as if that would just be too obvious, so I went with a Yakuza 4 one instead. There will be spoilers.

Skip to 5:45 for the actual scene. If you want to watch the fighting then just remember it's not as terrible as it looks here, this guy is just really bad at it and is playing in a moronic way.

The guy recieved a death penalty for killing 18 guys, he had been waiting for 25 years in prison, but the day of his execution never came. He heard some stories about the outside, things that he had been involved with before, and escapes.

He entered this deathmatch to get information, he was told he had to win against the champion (the Russian boxer guy man), and well, this is what happens afterwards. This is not the saddest scene of his story, there are some worse ones, but I just really like this scene. It's so heartfelt and great, I really like it.

tl;dr: Man tough, crush Russians, man sensitive.

Hands down it's the final scenes from Mass Effect 2.
Harbinger's speech was epic, the action and music lined up so well with each other, the beat just kept building and the whole time i'm saying, 'Come on Shep, you can do it!'

Aya's "death" in The 3rd Birthday, The ending to TWEWY, the ending to Final Fantasy XIII and all of it's CGI Cutscenes, Zack's death, and seeing Vaan die in Dissidia 012. Honestly, while I don' dislike him, I just had to go YAY! when I saw it.

If it comes to unreleased games, I like the fight scene seen in the God Eater 2 Trailer and the build-up between Noctis and Stella in the DK-something (honestly, WTH Square-Enix?) trailer for Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I hardly play any games outside of the JRPG genre, although I'm trying to break free.

 

My favorite scene, huh?
I guess it would have to be the ending to Sora's story in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
For one thing, it was the first game that I had ever really completed, so that's pretty special to me. And although it was all text (played it first on the GBA) I couldn't help but feel the emotion between Sora and Namine and cried a little bit. Hell, I still cry a bit 'til this day, even with the PS2 remake. A part of me felt (and still feels) that Sora should've ended up with Namine; she was the victim of something that was much greater than herself. And after all the stuff you learned in Kingdom Hearts 2, it just makes it even more heart breaking.

Every ending from KH. Ending of Persona 3 and 4.
Probaly there are more scenes, but I can't remember. =S

 

In Forbidden Siren we play several characters in a town full of shibitos (sort of Japanese zombies, they act as if they were alive but they cry blood and kill any living person they see). One of those characters is a teenager girl named Tomoko. After several missions she finally learns that her parents are waiting for her at the church. On her way to the church she suddenly starts to see weird eerie lights everywhere, and although the area is swarming with shibitos none of them react to her presence, which makes this trip to the church the easiest mission of this otherwise very hard game. The player, as confused as Tomoko, finally reaches the church and sees this :

My favorite scenes are the night scenes in Sonic Unleashed. The scenes during the day are usually boring.
I prefer the action of the night scenes.

Hmm , that's a tough one..I'd have to say the first scene of KH2 with Roxas. It was the first KH and Square enix games i had Ever played , i didn't even know what Kingdom Hearts was before it. And it brings so many nostalgic memories back , especially when seeing the advertisement for the game , going off topic here , but yeah ,Because Kingdom hearts 2 has a lot of nostalgic value to me , I'd have to say the very first cut scene because that's what started it off XD and for one without much nostalgic value. When

Sora and Roxas fight in dive into the heart. Especially when they both go into mid air and clash keyblades , i just loved it. But every cutscene in kingdom hearts means a lot to me since i just love the game series.
