Is there anyway you could make a tut on how it is you make these sigs?

 

There's honestly not too much to making the avatars. I just get the image, crop it, and add Adjustment Layers. I usually use these:

• Levels: To brighten/darken the image.
• Brightness/Contrast: To brighten/darken the image, and adjust the contrast.
• Curves: To brighten/darken the image and play with the colors.
• Selective Color: To enhance color and to get the colors in odd places (like red shadows on their skin, etc)
• Hue/Saturation: I don't use this one a lot because it makes the image grainy, but it's nice to finish the avatar off.
• Photo Filters: Just to make use of Warming/Cooling Filters.
