Traditional Art You asked for it . . .

Here, *TwilightNight*, just for you, hun. ^_^- You asked for it, and I delivered. Though it was you who inspired me to draw this in the first place . . . plus an extra serving of boredom on the side. I mean she IS surrounded by them. -This- is what I call my SH!T PAPER. xD

Umm, I know it doesn't look like her [again], mainly because I drew her from memory [can't really go online to look at Larxene's face during exams]. So here she is, in a Masquerade Ball Gown [minus the mask], and with long hair.

I'm not a exact expert on art (so I can't say much about lines or shades or anything xP), I really do enjoy the way the description of her body, her dress (the cleavage is quite something, lol xP, kind of a classy sexy), and especially her hands are. You got the right proportions. And I also like the things on her arms (have no idea what they're called right now *-*).

All in all, you're pwnsome.

 

It took me a minute to realize I was looking at her.

I love the lightning bolt clip on her dress. The shading effect is great. Now I want to see Larxene in a ballroom dress in game...

I'm weird like that.

Thankx hun. I appreciate it a lot. I actually would have never drawn her if you'd never mentioned how you see Lar-Lar. I was so, so, so, extremely bored, wondering what I should draw when BAM! This came to mind. I drew her in about 10 minues, and proceeded to surrounding her with my boredom. xDD I'd found the drawing at the bottom of my backpack three days later, and she was looking good, so I'd decided to shade her. Well I fixed her up a bit, before posting.

LOL, that's the beauty of a corset, they make your boobies look like THIS: (_)(_). xDD Well, I 'm just glad that you like it. This picture, after all, IS dedicated to you. 8D

Hmm . . . actully she's a little awkward. O.o' And you know what, I've got no idea what the things on her arms are called either! xD

I'd like that as well. If I knew anything about computer graphics, I'd recreate her and put her in a dress.

Ok, I'm going to criticize my own drawing, and there's only one major problem . . . THE SHADING SUCKS!!
One golden rule in shading is, NEVER USE YOUR FINGER, and I did T_T. Not to mention the pencil I was using was horrible. The second layer [plian portion] of the dress looks absolutely horrible with the finger smearing. D8 You could hardly even see the shading. Looks like half is shaded the other is not. The 3D efect is also bad, I couldn't even shadow her properly. Her posture is awkward, as she seems like she's leaning forward, sticking her butt and clevage out, and also leaning back, all at the same time. 8/
Other than that, I think the proportion is good, though her breasts could've been smaller.

 

Don't be so hard on it. Considering you basically did this in class while you were taking a exam, I'd say for the most part you did good, especially with the items in your hand. Even with the touch up, the basics were already done. I could just imagine what drawing it would be if you put concentration into it. So I hope to see more from you. And her breasts are just fine xP, why smaller? And I could never wear corsets, it would bother me, despite how...(_)(_) it makes you look >.<. In my opinion, you did aweosme, and while you say is awkward, remember the circumstances you were in. I know you can do better if you think there were some mistakes. I find it prettiful, nonetheless :3.

Anyway, I'm glad I gave you some inspiration for the picture, that way, when you're bored and need somethng to draw, think of...Larxene in a school uniform. Or draw her in the WalMart outfit xD.

 

I'm a very mean and b!tchy critique when it comes to art. >D Even if it my own art, or someone else's. Well, considering what the circumstances were in class, she did in fact turn out good. I always have trouble with drawing breasts. O.o' I always end up making them double Ds. xD Well, her's seem fine, at first glance, but they are actually big. The way the skirt of her dress was drawn, it looks like her hip is leaving her waist, which is not good. The folds on the first layer of skirt is crap [I've yet to master how to draw folds in clothing], and the shadow in the folds are also crap. Her hands, they seem fine, when actually one's bigger than the other . . . well they are supposed to be like that, but I made the wrong hand bigger than the other. O.o' Her fingers on the left hand are not so good either. Still, through it all, I'm just glad that the proportions were good, especially the ratio of the head to the shoulders. Arg. Her skirt is wrong too. I'd messed up on perspective there. O.o' I need to work on my 3D and shadow effect, also some perspective as well.

Looking at your own drawing after a while can definitely make you see wtf you messed up on, and I definitely see them now. I like critiquing my own work. I learn from it, and now I know what I've got to watch out for. 8D And thanks, hun. You just gave me a bunch more ideas. xD I'm actually working on Axel at the moment, and I must say, that he's turned out reaaaally sexy so far. >D

I'd felt the same about corsets at a time, but actually, they aren't bothersome, believe it or not. xD

I'm surprised you actullly spotted all of that, because as a outsider, I couldn't even tell the difference of what you did wrong, or if there was a mistake made. The dress I thought was finely done, the folds, at least, look pretty. I did notice now that the skirt in itself is quite not so free, but rather a cylinder, it would've been better to make it more flowy and pleated, maybe, otherwise, there was nothing amiss. I do understand critique, however, as I feel the same way when I write.

And you're doing one of SEXY Axel? =3333 You know you better show me that one xP. I heard his hair is the most difficult to draw with him.

 

The movies are talking about the classic whale bone corsets, those are really uncomfortable, however, the modern ones are quite comfortable. ^_^-

I actually had put in some shading to indicate some flow in the skirt, but since the shading sucks, you can barely even see anything. 8/ But the original drawing, you actually can see the flow, because the shading is slightly darker there. And you're also correct on the fact that the skirt looks like a cylinder. I'd meant to make the skirt smaller and free, but . . . *sigh* What's done is done, and I think I can throw away the Sh!t Paper, as it no longer holds a purpose for me. 8D

Axel, I'm still working on, and his hair was actually pretty ok to draw. I won't say easy, because that took me 20 minutes to get it right. I'm not using any reference, it's completely from memory, so I've got to feel it when the hair is right, and right now, I can feel that the hair is fine. But now, I'm having trouble shading it. I'll work on it full time once I'm out of school. And once he's finished and looking sexy, I'll bring him to you.

Critiquing on art is like my part-time job. I'm not in any art class, but students still come to me for my critique. I think, a couple years back, I made someone cry though. D8 Well, next to my art critique, everyone also brings me their essays too, and being the grammar Nazi I am when it comes to school work, I butcher their papers. xD

 

Alright then, maybe you can use my sigggies for any Axel preference xD, including his naturally spiked hair where he could imputate small mammals. But he wiil still look hawt while doing so :3. Ill be awaiting my love to come into drawings. I always tried to think of what normal clothes Axel would wear if it wasn't for the Organization XIII coat. I definitely see a black cor red jacket and some loose dark pants, or dark jeans of whatever the style is in KH. Hopefully, nothing like Roxas's though.

I don't critique anyone's works harshly, because I'm more soft that way, so I will feel bad at the end of it all -_-. Of course, there's blunt honesty still. Overall though, your drawing is fine. There's some things to work with, but as it is said, that was done in school, or wherever you took the test (they sometimes take you in other buildings where I reside).

My Piccy of Axel is actually based on this. I was looking at that picture at home a while back, during when my exams were going strong, and he was also, like Larxene a product of my boredom. xD However, I didn't turn his paper into a Sh!t Paper like Larxene's because when I did a quick sketch, he came out really good, even when I was not actually even trying. When I realized that he was actually looking hot and sexy, I kept the sketch safe and protected, so I can work on him little by little. So, unlike Larxene's paper, his paper is still clean, sort of, with some marks here and there, but it's still clean nonetheless. And he's obviously still in his Organization coat, unfortunately. I'll make a casual Axel soon, and maybe even a Larxel sketch, I got a sexy [not -that- kind of sexy, you know what I mean] image in my mind ;), and I hope I can bring it down onto paper.

I butcher when I critique, that's just how I roll. People know that very well, and yet they come to me through all my b!tching and blabbering about how horrible their grammar is. :sideways: I'm just very brutally honest, and I do it for their own good. Once I get through with them about something, they never forget it, mostly because of my b!tching. Normal corsets are just like any other t-shirts, the only difference is that it's a bit more stiff.

 

Ah, that picture, of his drawing. Wow. You're getting me really excited now xD. I'll be waiting for your next post of my dear Axel, then, and many others to show of the awesomness. As they say, the harshest criticism can come from our very own selves, because we know our work more than anybody else, though I doubt there would be much to critique if you're getting that happy with it ;P.
