I like the 2nd one better. It seems more peaceful, while still keeping that edginess to it. Though the eye in it kinda reminds me of Stitch's eye..

 

This suffers chiefly from one of the number one no-no's (and also one of the most commonly committed) composition problems: floating head syndrome. The name is pretty self-explanatory. It's a very awkward way to place the stock. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to avoid it--just try to include a bit of the shoulders or the body in later tags.
