358/2 Days Xion original name speculation

If this should not be a topic or something, then admins, please do something about it. Anyway, so we know this:

The 14th member's name is Xion or Xeon. She resembles Kairi. A Nobody always has an anagram of their original name with an X in it for a name.

So: what could her original name be? well, let's see, we've got 12 options unless I miscalculated. Nio, Ion, Oin, Noi, Ino, Oni. I think her original name is Ino, since that is an actual Japanese name. what do others think?

 

Since when did we get an official name for her?

Did I miss something?

I like Ino and Oni. They're pretty names.​

 

Most likely it's 'Ino'. Since 'oni' means 'demon', I don't think that'll be the name...unless Nomera likes messing with us...and he does...

 

Ino and Nio sounds okay for me. Oni...lol, it means demon. Haha. So Xion resembles Kairi, eh? Shucks, how oringinal. I was hoping for a nice new character design.

 

So it's possible it could be something else.​

But that could give us insigth on how it's pronounced. I think it is with an X, though, because the shion thing was probably just a mispelling, and if she was ever in Organization XII she has to have an X in her name.

 

Okay, now this is interesting. I entered 'Shion' into a 'Japanese to English' translator website, and I got:

sibilant; the kindness of a teacher

For 'Xion':

...I got nothin'.

 

well duh, Xion has an X in it! It's an org name!

 

Well I remember reading that Shion influenced roxas to do..."something." Maybe she taught him something? Im getting ahead of myself but maybe...how to dual weild? I can imagine if Shion is like a teacher figure she might know about the heart and might tell roxas about the keyblade...im basing this off of nothing but it would be cool...

 

Based off of what we know so far, a sister/teacher figure wouldn't be that big of a stretch...still, it's all we got so far.

NO! WE are rebels! We don't report to anyone. But the idea of her being a teacher in a sense is quite logical, but you never know...

 

Mm, I noticed her name is the last three characters in Zexion's name.

Ze-Ku-Shi-O-N. Shi-O-N. So it could be Xion.

Ino means boar/pig, and Oni means demon... I'm waiting until her name is written down on something like the 358/2 Days website or something for an official translation.

 

Good idea, we need official confrimation.

Wait, I've heard from some it's Xion. Also from some, Shion.

Maybe Shion's the original considering it doesn't have an X. (not all anagrams has to have every letter rite?)

 

Hm ... it seems like when you say "Xion", it slips out as "Shion". Which, in fact, is an obvious Japanese name of choice.

Personally, the speculation I have is a name relative to "eon". Seeing how the translation of "eon" in Japanese is "ion". Perfect match.

Hell, maybe the name could be "Nen" for all I know of. Oh crap, I think I made a discovery ...

And the title "358/2 Days", sounds like a year to me. And an eon is relative to it, in a way. So, maybe we might expect the 14th Organization member to be a anagram to the title itself.

 

Who knows?? One think is for sure now... she is not Aqua
