okay I've been on this site for a long time now and have yet to have a succesful RP of my own I don't know if I do something wrong or not. I've been working on this one but have stoped due to the fact I doubt my own ablities as a writer and an RPer. I use to have confidence in my post but it's been lacking. anyway here's the RP idea so far

The Corner Stone of Light, the name alone can give one a basic understanding, a stone using Light energy. However the word corner stone must mean there are others. With the word Corner in its name it must be part of something bigger. So I conducted research through the usal channels and came up with some very interesting information.
The Corner Stone of Light is one of three Corner Stones: the Corner Stone of Darkness and Twilight. This information while not surprising did bring to light a few things.
The Cornerstone of Darkness is curently resides in the Darkest Castle under Sithos Darkra, the Black Knights and the Heartless's control. The Corner Stone of Light resides in Disney Castle and remains in the control of King Mickey. The Corner Stone of Twilight is not under anyones control but is on a strange world called Earth in a castle "hidden under the great sands." It is unclear what these "great sands" are but I intend to continue my research and learn more about this world Earth.

I like the theme of the thing... Is it just research or is there a war included over the cornerstones or what's going on with them? Just research itself wouldn't be all that fun. If you have him exploring earth, meeting people and bringing all these different worlds into it would be very intriguing to me anyway... :P

One thing that would help (for any RP in general, not just this one) is to make them with other people. Not just make one and have people join it.

Is this going to take place in the actual Kingdom Hearts universe (with Sora and everyone)
or are KH's characters not going to be in it? Minus Mickey, of course.

This is the KH universe after number 2. a big problem I have is throwing alot of information into people. I have a fantasy RP were I tried not doing that but it's not working out either

Okay! So are the somebodies good or bad? And are Sora and them included or is it a new group of people (as in OC's)?

Xert's group isn't good or bad. Their kind of nuetral in most my RPs and others but Xert can sometimes serve as a bad guy or good guy.
people playing the RP usaly choose one side or the other. Sora's group is always iffy

Oooor... from what I observe, how about try something a little different? Like different characters and such. Try something new. The more new things you try, the better the RPs get.

Xert's primary goal is to bring all three cornerstones to one world. The power of all three together would cause the worlds to unite as one large world. It would also destroy all heartless and because of that it would form a new Kingdom Hearts

I think what this also lacks as well is a strong foundation. Meaning, you have the right idea, but with the ideas changing constantly over time and twists with the way it's going, it's going to probably make other fellow RPers frustrated. Twists are good, but if you twist it too much, it's going to fall apart. It's good to have nuetral grounds, but since it's the main force, it can either quickly lean to the good side or the bad side, and that sometimes makes the story plot unfair for either side... You know what I'm saying? >> I'm not trying to be mean... but yeah.

Well it's the main force and it's not. I also have Sithos who leads the Heartless in my RP badest of the bad you could say. he's always an evil force in my RPs

Try doing something different. Like make something from scratch. You can make new characters, but keep the names if you want (I do that a lot). Give Xert and everyone else a solid objective.

Or do something like not include Sora and the others, maybe one of them at the most. Xert makes it to Earth, but so do the bad guys. Now regular humans become Keyblade wielders and have to deal with Heartless.

I'll say that your idea does seem pretty catchy, and I'd be more than willing to contribute to it. I've been wanting to do something KH that is set on Earth/an Earth-like world... preferably present day Earth. PM/VM me if you're interested in a collaboration (preferably the latter).

And if it's management thoughts you might need, I can offer only suggestions to combat the common problems in that regard.

One thing that I really can't stress enough is allotting everyone involved in the RP the glory of carrying the torch... in other words, don't make your character hog the spotlight. Whether or not this is something you tend to do, I don't know. I'm just putting it out there, since I've been in quite a few RPs that wind up centering on a small, main cast of characters, essentially leaving others either in the dust, or as minor, insignificant characters. Remember kids... people join RPs to be part of a story, not watch others create the story around them; if they did it the other way around, they wouldn't join them in the first place.

Another good execution thought is to not rush through things. Nothing bites it more (IMO) than an RP that is rushed through. It tends to be synonymous with the infamous "one-liners" and "speed posting." Anywho, plainly, just don't rush through things; avoid skipping around too much with things (ie - don't get warp happy and move characters around rapidly), basically, try to keep a sense of "real time" as much as possible, and also, try not to go into that "spitfire post mode" sort of thing. Not only does holding back on the reigns a bit help ensure excellent development, but it also gives people who can't get on as often an easier time with keeping up with things. Needless to say, it is harder to keep up an RP when you get back from a weekend away, and there're about twenty pages of near one-liners (or outright one-liners) awaiting them, that only leave them with more questions than answers to "what happened?"

Again, I am in no way trying to suggest that you in fact operate your RPs, or otherwise RP in others' RPs in such fashions. Just outlining some of the things that I've found make for successful, quality RPs.

Actually, the complete earth sounds pretty cool. And younger kids still have to go to school and at the same time, fight heartless and hunt for things... XD And that's good advice Ego Imperium! I mean, I've joined multiple Rp's that have died because of the fact that they were circling one specific character or group. I always do feel left in the dust that way...

Well I supose I could try but I don't think Xert would be involved. I think the RP should focus on what the goverments would do and what citizens would do in a growing crisis

that sounds good! Except not EVERY citizen should get a keyblade, just the rp'ers. The rp'ers could also control their families and friends and then some people would control the government. The government could be afraid of the keyblade wielders and hunt them down, and the heartless, nobodies and unversed could be considered an "alien threat" to the planet.
