So disney XD is going to now start broadcasting Naruto Shippuden. I saw a comercial for it while I was fastforwarding one of my dvr's of even stevens(90 shows ftw). I saw it in fastforward, and I was like "Was that naruto" so i rewinded and it said they are starting to broadcast it.

i only watch that channel cause they play batman and gargoyles

So this now means disney owns the right to Naruto in english.

This could be worst then 4kids or better. I'm leaning toward worst.

If only I had that channel, I have over 900 channels including 20 porno channels but the N is one channel I don't have.

They also have The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Which isn't so bad since I like that show, but I'm just afraid that they may censor the hell out of it in the later episodes.

Next Disney project: Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, and Naruto do a musical together. :|

Honestly I don't know what Disney is going to do with it. You hand Cartoon Network an anime, they airbrush over any nudity and guns but apparently forget to edit a scene which very obviously implies a pair of teens had sex (Gundam SEED, I'm looking at you); you hand 4kids an anime, they not only remove the word 'death' from the entire cast's vocabulary, but try to make death in itself completely disappear (One Piece), but Disney? Have they ever really handled an anime before?

I don't have high hopes for it either, but they COULD suprise us and do a decent job. Who knows. I don't even watch Naruto, but here's hoping they don't butcher it. If they do their research and know the demographic this show is meant for, they may not censor it much at all.

 

if they were gonna do something good with it, they should fire the guy who does Naruto and remove that dumb catchphrase
