I've been thinking of getting it... But what I want to know is that is it really worth getting? I know there's some awesome games to it but is it seriously worth getting?
I think it is, but I recommend actually knowing what games you would buy when you get it. Don't just buy it because you heard it has good games. But, if you want some suggestions, I bet we could give you some.
I highly reccommend a 360. Games like GoW, Halo 3, NGII, Mass Effect, Fallout 3, CoD4, etc are must plays. XBL will keep you constantly entertained, while achievements will give you new goals in games that for once reward you. The system has the most exclusives, the best online (anyone who says PSN is better because it's free please let me direct you to the fail of Socom's and LBP's servers and then I'll tell you that $50 a year is worth it), etc. So yeah, it's worth getting. That isn't just what I think, it's fact. I also highly recommend a year of XBL with it, while it doesn't make or break the experiance, it will add a hell of alot more fun.
Traded in my Wii to get a 360. Best choice i've made all year. It's a great console. Online I can't comment on as I haven't for a gold subcribtion yet. But in terms of games, great.
Hmmm I should look into it, but one problem if I did want to get the live I couldn't because I won't have the money(Yes, I'm f***ing poor sue me) I wish I was able to get it though >.>... One reason I wanted to get the Xbox360 was because I wanted to get halo3 and tales of Vespria for it and also for some reason I want to get saints row 2 lol
Best console ever made ( so what if you get the rrod about every 8 months, psn servers suck and the players are as skilled as an 8 year old girl.). Can't get the online? Go whoring. The STD's are worth it.
Hehh...fanboy much, it's not exactly hard to tell that Xbox Live is better than PSN at the moment. But PSN is far from sucky, the only main problem I have with it, is slow download times, but that could partly to do with my connection. As for player skill BS, there is hardly going to be a difference there.
I really hate microsoft.... 360 is just the best system made yet. Anyways, I guess i'm just a monster either way. 360 is more of a challenge for me, though.
Should you get a 360? Depends on what you like (I've grown used to giving this advice). What console to buy depends on looking at the games offered for them. In the end, you're looking at exclusives. Multi-platform titles don't matter because they're offered on more than one console, so consider the exclusives and make a decision as to which one has more titles you like. Anyone can boast why they're console has the 'better' games, but remember that what's 'good' is an opinion. If you have no interest in any of the 360's biggest exclusives like Gears or Halo for example, then obviously the console may mean squat to you, and that's your right. The same goes for the PS3. Think for yourself. That's all.
Yesh, you should buy a 360 'cause it's just simply awesome. As many have said before me, the exclusives, yes, there's a lot of exclusive games out there (Halo series, GoW series) and a lot of sweet HD games, too. Now, 360 might not be able to support Blu-Ray as of yet, but I'm sure Microsoft is working on something a lot more cooler for their system. Oh yeah, and if you get one, prepare to have the new dashboard... :D (November 19th, FTW!!!)

lol 460. Anyways, I also recommend getting the 360 as all the "newest" and "good" games are on there as they will please you.
