Okay, for the past few days is seems like my post count isn't sure if it's going to count my post or not.

I mean, it'll go up, then I'll look at it again later and it's gone down. I don't get it. D:

It could be that the thread you posted in got moved.


Like you post a in thread in Anything Else and then a Mod moves it to Spam.

Any post in the Fun and Games do not count, and if any of the threads you posted in is moved elsewhere or deleted, then your post count will decrease, since it did not count. That's most likely. :)​

 

Ditto. A lot of threads have been moved to spam lately, the same thing's happened to me.

 

*nods* yep yep, we have been cleaning out Anything Else since a lot of the threads in there belonged in spam.

Actually, something like this is happening to me. My post count stays the same in many threads and it only goes up on a few like this one.

 

Your posts don't count everywhere, some sections such as the spam zone, families and RP don't count towards your post count.​

 

I know that posts don't count in the Fun and Games Section. .-.

The problem is that I could post in the Art and Graphics Section and sometimes it wouldn't go up! :/

 

Actually, CtR, I'm getting that too.

Its like, every other post, it doesn't go up. Even if it's in a non-spam section.

I'll post something, then go to another nn-spam and it wont go up.​

Well, when the staff members move a thread to the RP section, the Spamzone or the Families, you're post count goes down by itself.

Last summer, there was this panic about the "What Song Are You Listening To Thread" where posts counts went down by the hundreds.

 

OMFG I lost like 300 posts in total from that

but they are saying that posts aren't counting, not that they are being lost.

I don't think there's anything wrong other than threads getting moved to sections where posts don't count... =/

So, since the question has been answered, shouldn't this thread be closed?

 

Like they said, if a post countable thread you posted in was deleted or moved to a place where posts don't count, all posts in that thread become null and void and no longer count causing your post count to go down.
