358/2 Days Wtf!?!? *spoilers*

Alright, so i was playing 358/2 days and

I got to the cutscene where Xion, Xigbar, and Axel where in Wonderland on a mission. I had a WTF moment when Xion starts fighting Xigbar and Axel doesnt stop her. Then, Xigbar starts seeing not Xion anymore but Ven!!!??! What the hell?

I this part a foreshadow of Birth By Sleep or what? And the answer might be obvious to everyone, but i am still in awe....
i thought you guys might want to discuss this....:)

 

Actually the answer is obvious. Don't read it if you haven't finished the game though.

Xigbar sees Xion as Ven because Briag has a connection to Ven. Ven has a connection to Sora and Xion is pretty much his leaked memories.
