Kingdom Hearts II Would you change KH2's ending?

Okay, I've looked over 52 pages of topics in the KH2 forum, so if this topic has already been listed, I apologize.

I'm not bashing the ending or anything, I'm asking if anybody else thought there should be more of 'this' or less of 'that'. To put bluntly: How do you think KH2 should've endede? The same, or something a little different?

 

I'd keep the ending the same, there's nothing that should be given or taken.

 

I agree, I would definatly keep it the same (Even though I want to know whats going to happen...)

 

Keep it the same, but having Sora, Riku, and Kairi break out in hip-hop dance off wouldn't be so bad either.

 

Probably keeping the shot of Sora and Kairi's hands together at the end for a few more seconds would've been nice. :huh: Other than that, no changes necessary.

 

Actually, I think KHII has one of Square's best endings yet. Don't think there's anything that could be added or removed.

 

Nope, I thought the ending was just fine. Lengthening it any longer could ruin the series...

 

I dunno. I liked the ending, but I would've thought of a different entrance rather than 'crashing back' as meteors or something.

 

I would a little. If I could I would put more hints.

but i honestly thought the ending was beautiful. It made me cry throughout the entire credits and watching it now I still get teary-eyed. I think the music was perfect, the timing was amazing, and the feelings incredible. It was freakin beautiful.

 

I would change the ending - make Kairi slap Sora for leaving her for so long lolz

 

Well I actually think the end was done pretty well. The story needed a ton of work, the Org's motives were unclear. All we knew was that they wanted hearts. But the end was good. (apart from that dark beach stuff, I did not quite get that.)

 

A scene with Mickey panicing about the bad news would have been nice

 

I think a pretty cool ending would be that after getting home Sora and Riku would rest for a bit, and then Riku would pick up the two wooden swords they always played with and would ask Sora for a one on one match. Kairi would be "the referee" and as they fought she would sigh to herself thinking that it was just like old times. Then it would pan up and you would see a star twinkling in the twilight sky. Donald Goofy and Mickey would not appear...just cuz its a little weird to see their cartoony faces. But the original ending would be cool too.

 

Personally, I would've thought Riku and Sora (along with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy) land somewhere on the island where they all played before the adventures all started. They see some heartless or something going on at the mainland, they race in and find a bunch of their old friends, including Tidus, Wakka, Selphie, and Kairi surrounded by Neo-shadows or something. The group appears one-by-one, defeating a heartless, with Kairi recognizing all of them until Riku and Sora are left. A boss heartless appears, they defeat it, and the keyhole appears. Riku, Sora, and King Mickey use all three of their keyblades to seal it, and everyone just sort of plays catch-up. Eventually we get to a nighttime scene where everyone's partying, happy that Riku, Sora and Kairi are back, and eventually Sora and Kairi sneak off to have a moment alone, eventually leading up to Sora's giving Kairi her charm back...

But that's just me.

 

I wouldn't have changed any of kh2's ending. The only part of the game I might have changed would be Demyx joining the good guys, then there would have been another person in the betwixt in between, so Axel wouldn't have had to use the last of his strength, so neither Demyx nor Axel would have died. I hope that makes some sort of sense...​

 

I liked the ending how it was, though I would say it would have been nice had any of the Nobodies survived (like Axel and/or Demyx as posted above). I really did like the ending though and I've seldom been disappointed by SE game endings; especially FF ones.

 

i would have made it so some of org XIII somehow survived, (like axel), and i would have made the overall cutscenes have alot less of "look at that!" *5 seconds later a portal appears*

I was pretty content with the way they ended it, though I would have liked, like others said, to see some organization members survive the game, especially Axel. But in every other aspect the way they finished it off was superb in my opinion, and I like the way they've left it oh so very open for KH3 what with the letter and all.
