I just got a lightning strike right outside my house. One second there's a light, the next a loud boom shaking the floor. I'm just glad my computer didn't go out on me from that.
>Lighting strike near my house. >Less than a second: THE LIGHT. >A second later: THE SOUND, shaking the floor and stuff! First thing to think is... What happened? Am I alive? Am I alright? Is everyone already IS MY COMPUTER ALRIGHT?
umm, I'm thinking more along the lines of this Don't worry, I've got my priorities fully set. Since I didn't get hit, I'm completely fine. But my precious wittle laptop might not be, so I have to worry about it. Especially considering what my mother put it through before I got it
nope, the steps were these: 1) big lightning strike 2) I think "Oh crap oh man, this is going to be loud" 3) I hear big gigantics noise and the house shakes 4) I freak out saying "Holy crap, what the hell!?" surprised it was much louder than I thought 5) I make sure my computer is perfectly fine 6) After checking my computer, I immediately post this thread
I'm thinking you meant to say "Glad you're not dead". But I don't think any human mixes well with lightning. Although maybe staff can. After all, they command a world above all others on this site. (and yes, I stole that line from Buso Renkin)
nope, it was much closer than that. The light covered everything. It was like someone turned the world's brightness settings to max. It was only a second, but it was pure white and nothing else
