For some odd reason, my WMM won't let me load up my AVI files. Well, it lets me, but imports them as audio, not video. I have DivX and all so I can play them, but I still have the issue with WMM. Now, I have Vista, but this never was an issue on my old comp that had XP. What can I do to fix this or is it just another case of Vista being ******ed? Can someone help? Thanks!~

I highly doubt that it's a Vista problem, it's probably a Windows Movie Maker problem. I forget which, but I had a problem with .avi's or .mp4's in WMM on Windows XP, where the video would play, but the image would be flipped horizontally and vertically. I don't have that problem anymore with Vista (I don't use WMM anymore, but I tested it just now). WMM is a bad program and it's probably just a causeless glitch. If this is the case, it may fix itself...or you may have to convert your video files >_>; Don't do this just yet though. I would suggest thoroughly looking through the preferences in WMM; something may have turned itself on/off.

*shrugs* maybe somebody else has better suggestions XD

It's defiantly not a Vista problem.
It's WMM that's acting up. Lately, I've been getting problems too.

Oh, I just thought because Vista has a different version of WMM. It looks different and stuff. Besides, I had this issue with my old comp and installing DivX cleared it up...

Editt: Maybe I'll try installing the old version and my ArcSoft Movie Editor (Which, I'm sad to say, sucks even more than WMM) I'll be back with the results.
