Winter 2011/12 Schedule (December - February) Visual Guide

So yeah. Winter discussion general.

 

I am very excited about Zero No Tsukaima! It was one of, if not, the first Anime I watched.
I'm disappointed that there is no HOTD, though. Oh well, the manga doesn't seem to progress, so I guess all I can do is wait.

 

Yeah, there's not enough new manga to work with to even start a second season. Probably eventually though, the anime sold decently.

 

Curious to see Top Wo Narae! (AKA GunBuster) on there. Wasn't aware Gainax was remaking it.
...god I'm gonna look forward to that. /fangasm

 

So far the only thing I'm going to be watching this season is Nisemonogatari. I think I'll wait for a more finalized guide to come out before I make any final decisions. Also, you might want to the change the title to December to March. The majority of the winter season won't even be starting until next month. Only 3 anime out of 26 in that list are starting this month.

 

Only four things popped out for me:

Gundam SEED HD. Why? I get remastering for a new DVD or Blu-ray release, but why a remastering for TV?
New season of Prince of Tennis. Because we totally need another season of that garbage.
K-On movie. Seriously? I enjoyed the first season of the show, but if this takes after the boring as hell second season, what's the point? What can they do for a movie based on a show without much of a story?
New season of Zero No Tsukaima. I have no problem with this. In fact, I find it interesting and reminds me that I need to see the other three seasons.

EDIT:

Missed two things:
Rurouni Kenshin movie. I thought this was going to be a fillerless remake to have complete anime as the original version didn't have the final story arc due to bombed ratings in the last filler arc. Or is that some other project I'm thinking of?
Berserk movie. Considering the amount of decay the original Berserk anime had, I can't say that I have a problem with this.

 

Pretty sure this is still the latest one, will edit with the updated ones when they come out.

When the show is generating over 192 million dollars, they can do whatever the hell they want.

 

I'm mostly confused over how its going to work. Anyone who's watched K-On can tell you that there isn't much going on outside of, as a friend of mine puts it, a bunch of "cute girls doing cute things." Two hours of that isn't going to make a good film.

 

Yeah I sort of agree, it's apparently about them taking a trip to the UK but I honestly only watched the second season because it had just started airing when I finished the first season. I don't think anyone really expects anything from it other then "more K-On to watch".

 

I'm really only looking forward to the New Prince of Tennis and Fairy Tail. I like those manga, and none of the other's I've even heard of

 

I plan to watch Nisemonogatari, BRS, and Amgami SS. Also, is that Sacred Seven movie I see? That show was so utterly terrible, I have no idea how they can possibly hope to make a profit on a movie.
