Nintendo Wii U Demos Out Now in Some Best Buy and GameStop Stores

Call your Best Buy or GameStop and see what all the fuss is about! Some demo stations will have Rayman, while other will have Mario. Either way, I'll post my thoughts later today once I go to my GS and play it. I'm so excited!

 

Just played Rayman Legends on Wii U. I LOVE IT! Let me start with the graphics. I can say for certain that these are very clear HD graphics, unlike the Wii. But we all know that, and I can't really add anything because it's a 2D title. Never the less, it was awesome.

The controller felt a bit weird for the first five seconds. After that, it became almost second nature. It's a bit wide and a bit light, but awesome. It felt really comfortable playing Rayman.

The first level I played involved guiding Rayman with a mosquito-thingy-majiggy with the touch screen. It felt sort of gimmicky, but it was still fun. I preferred the second level, however. It was a music-based one, where rock music plays in the background. Every time you jumped or hit something, a guitar sound would be produced, and let me tell you, it was EPIC. Seriously, look up a YouTube video of this, it is AWESOME.

I only got to play it for 15 minutes, but I'll take any questions.

 

Wii U tablet. There is a 2-player option with a wiimote and nunchuk. Sadly, the only people that were there wanted to see the PS Vita/buy something. :(
