Do you need 300 posts to get your username changed?

And what's a premium member?

 

1. Because only dedicated members deserve name changes.

2. When you get 1,000 posts and I think 100 rep.

 

That's how you become premium. To have a name change, you need to have 300 posts and must have been a member for at least 5 months.

So that it is a level field for eevry member, plus it seems a bit unfair that a member who made an account and then never, ever posted, suddenrly turns up again and can get a name change, when newer more dedicated members can't. Hence the 300 posts and 5 months.

Really you should be happy, some forums don't allow a name change at all until you are prem.

A premium member is just another user group with a couple more advantages, they can have:

• Their own user title
• Coloured user name
• Larger sig space
• Larger avatar allowance
• Two signature images
• Their own section (which is the worst kept secret in the history of forever)
• More name changes

She didn't ask how you get a namechange, she asked why you need the 300 posts, which is why RvR replied what he did :v
