"Why you wear your avatar and signature" Thread

I sometimes go into a deep thought as to why a member is using his/her avatar/signature. "Is this character from a show? What kind of character is it?" So I thought, why not find out by asking.

I'll start with mine.

I use my avatar and signature because I like the silent dude from the Killers' music video Here With Me. His cool personality and weird but soft love obsession with an actress makes the character loveable in my eyes.

 

Because I am burdened with glorious purpose.
Also, my brain is a bag of cats.

 

Because I am avaricious.

 

I like TWEWY/Homestuck.
A lot.

Granted though, I am planning on eventually switching to a Tales of the Abyss thing.

 

Currently Im into Dead or Alive 5, and Mila is the best one. So I thought why not.

 

Oh, she's from Dead or Alive? Thought she was from some new boxing video game.

 

I am a huge fan of Geoffrey St John so I decided to show my support of him this way.

 

A beautiful webcomic.

 

Because I am a hedgehog and we are a pretty awesome species.

 

I was a huge fan of D. Gray Man, but once it turned monthly I had a hard time maintaining interest because I would forget what happened from chapter to chapter, and since the author takes every other month off that only made the problem worse. Anyway, 2 D. Gray Man chapters came out this past month so this is my way of celebrating. The character in my ava is one my favorites from the series, and if you know the series or character than the signature should make sense.

I usually pick my avas based on what I'm really into at the moment, and a character that I really like. I also like to have avas that have a single prominent color, but I don't always stand by that.

 

Well, I love tsundere characters, Toradora! especially and Llave made this avy for me so it's double special ^^

Amy made me a super cool signature and gave it to me as a present, and I love it so much!!

lol a tsundere would have said, "You didn't have to go through that kind of trouble, baka!" lol

She is me if I were attractive and a bit brattier. She is also beautifully drawn and I can't resist that.

 

Sylvanas is my favorite character from World of Warcraft. My signature is just a gif I found off tumblr (I dunno what show/movie it is from) and a quote from one of my favorite movies.

 

It's from the movie Summer Wars. I recommend it, if you're into that kind of thing.

 

I'm a pervert. I thought it was obvious.
