    Why does Roxas hold the Oathkeeper and the Oblivian instead of the Ultima Weapon and the Fenrir. Anybody know?:confused: :confused:

    Cause it is supposed to represent the dark and light side of Roxas. I think.

    Cause Fenrir looks stupid, and Ultima looks too big for duel wielding.

    Oathkeeper: Was given to Sora by Kairi, when he promised to come back to her. Definitely some kind of symbolism there.

    Oblivion: A more obscure definition for this word is something like "forgetfulness". That's a big theme in Kingdom Hearts, as well as the fact the Roxas remembers nothing about his former life.

    oathkeeper is the keyblade sora got form kairi,
    oblivian is the keyblade you get after beating riku in KH1,
    so in other words the two keyblades that represent sora's best friends.

    Hm... Yeah, symbolism all around.

    Oathkeeper represents Light, Oblivion Darkness, Nobodies are caught between the 2
    Oathkeeper came from Kairi, Oblivion came from stopping Riku.... Bfriends of Sora
    Oathkeeper (Promises) Oblivion (Memories) both important elements of KH.. and if ya think about it, they're intertwined... Sora & co. make LOADS of promises throughout the series, and then there's CoM for Memories, PLUS Orgy XIII seem to rely on their memories for how to behave... (Room of Sleep, and Room of Awakening and all that) AND Sora, Donald, and Goofy used the tactic of making a pact (or promise) to help them keep themselves from forgetting anymore...

    I agree...
    Oathkeeper = Light
    Oblivion = Darkness

    I think a funny part of this is that Sora got both Oathkeeper and Oblivion after Roxas was born... so how does he have the keychains?

    Sora obtains Oathkeeper after he promises Kairi. Then he has to go back to Hollow Bastion to get Oblivion where he fought Xehanort's heartless as Riku. Isn't it strange both places are located when the Heartless arise and where people lose their world goes to?

    Not just that but they represent the bond of friendship he has with all around him.

    Oathkeeper=Trust that sora and his friends have for each other

    Oblivion=The willing to fight for what they believe in and to protect one another.

    This one seems very likely. But it could also be like a combination of light and dark.
