Kingdom Hearts II Why isn't there awesomeness

How come there aren't any cell phones in kh? They have huge computers, electricity, no cell
phones, no Newgrounds, and nooo cars. Why isn't there USEFUL technology in kh?

Because, KH characters never tire. Ever. And therefore, are more efficient than cars. :P

In seriousness, they are probably cares, we just havn't been to a world with them yet.

 

Uh, the main characters come from an island, it won't be that useful to them..an example being Sora' trouble with the Tron computer... >_>

But in places like TWTNW and Hallow Bastion they have technology, however most are disney worlds and the movies that they're based were set in times without modern technology. That's why

I guess Nomura figured that he should keep the game as simple and kid-friendly as possible in terms of in-game technology.

Cars? Sora can FLY/GLIDE, he just needs a high cliff to get a good start.

And cell phones, oh those silly teenagers!

 

Hmmm....yeah there was technology....but I don't think it was too big of a thing to worry about.....

 

I would bet there are 'cell phones' in the KH universe on some worlds. Destiny Islands seems to be pretty 'modern' so it would not surprise me if they are there or Radiant Gardens. However, the characters don't really need them and it would seem kind of unexplainable if cell phones worked from world to world. They really aren't necessary or very logical to put in the game.

 

Actually there were cars in KH2. Only that it tried to kill you instead to give you a ride. Timeless River, remember?

Agreed with everyone else regarding the matter though, it's just not needed to the game.

 

It would still be pretty cool to do a drive by in a car :P

 

If they had the Internet in KH, know what would've happened? Macros. Oh yeah; FSM, Ceiling Cat, NEDM, all that stuff. The Limit in Space Paranoids would've been "Shoop da Whoop!". And we'd have to fight off the legions of Ebaum's World instead of the Heartless. And Organization XIII would be called "Anonymous".

Actually, I doubt it'd have changed things much. Either way, Sora's too young to drive, and I doubt any of them have the free time to learn. Also, I don't think that any wireless provider could provide coverage on all those worlds and still be slightly logicial.

 

Because they're awesome and don't have all the bullshit problems that humans have here.

 

Because they wouldn't need them and it wouldn't be necessary because most of the worlds are set in there own time period.

 

I always kind of wondered the same thing. As stated before, though, it'd be impossible for you to call to other worlds and would just be ridiculous. It'd be neat though. Considering that Sora was extremely confused with Ansem's computer and had no idea what Leon was talking about when he told him to download the data, how would he know of cell phones? But it's possible that they could maybe come later on in the next game(s). You never know with Nomura, I suppose. :D

 

Hollow Bastion was pretty much in ruin, with the exception of a few computers and the defensive grid. For all we know they all were destroyed.

But who needs them, anyway, when you can fly!!

If a certain country or town doesnt have anything you stated,then its automatically crappy then?..

Why have cellphones when you can just see friends everyday by walking there? and there are Gummi Ships too,you could just take a ride and go see your other-world friends.

 

i dont think the game would of worked with all those stuff.. i mean it has no relations to any of the characters featured
