Digital Art Why does looking at you always tick me off?

So, it's been a while since I've tried my hand at anything apart from the occasional gif or avi in GIMP. Still, after seeing a kid in one of my classes mess around in Photoshop and make something look good, I decided to try ruining perfectly good stocks making stuff again. Still feel like it needs something more, but this is me on Photoshop while listening to the Avengers and being sick. CnC away~

I think version 4 is my favourite but these are really good Cat : D you pick up PS well. I do love the colours in the background, are these renders or smudging? It's also good to see you experimenting with different effects to see what'll work.

I think you should keep in the squiggly (REVERSE SQUIGGLY!) line underneath the "maybe it's" as it just makes the text seem more interesting. I think the main problem with it is the render doesn't take up much of the signature and it may look better being more dominant. OR it may just be the fact that the render isn't blended in at all (apart from the dark patch in Sora's hair), I think you could either add some matching renders over the top (like at his knees and feet) or do some smudging.

I think I prefer the black and white ones because the colours in the background don't always compliment the render you've used. So, instead of purples and pinks use yellows and browns and dark blues.

These are really good though, please keep it up Cat : D you have potential.

 

Hm... I like version three the best because I'm a fan of the colors, the text in the upper right corner of one seems... odd to me (sorry ilu cat ;-;), and I don't really like that squiggle between the text on the second.

I really like the flow of the piece. I feel like he's in space or something, someplace with darkness that's surrounding him. It's a very nice effect.
