Why does everyone hate Runescape?

I want to know why so many people hate Runescape.
And don't tell me about its bad graphics, take in consideration that it is made from Java.

 

it use to be good, then an update came and it sucked aftr that. also, it's got no story line.

 

i don't think its a bad game, because it can be VERY addicting, lol. I wasted a month of my life on that game and then realized how addicted I was and quit. The main reason i quit tho, was because everyone in my family was playing World of Warcraft, which is a WAY better game, but i was just taking some time off of WoW at the moment. So now im back to WoW. You should try it, they have free 10 day trials on the website, and they have the download ready for you.
