    I may be wrong, but I think posting User Notes was restricted only to staff members (possibly excluding forum helpers) in the past.

    Now it's different... evidently.

    They were indeed... it was as if everyone suddenly went: "OH! USER NOTES! FUN-FUN!"

    EDIT:
    Really? Oh, I didn't know that. I thought they were just kind of always there.
