I am just asking why can't all systems have no reigon protection! No reigion protection means you can play any game from any reigion on that system! It would be so easier for people if all the systems have this! Nintendo DS has it why can't ps2 have it! If it does I can just import KH2:FM+ and not import a NTSC/JP Version of PS2! People would save so much money! So why can't all system have no reigion protection!

PS2 was an old system, and the idea of region free wasn't something people stressed over back then. It also takes quite a bit of work to produce a region-free system because it's not that they removed the region protection, but more like they programmed the system to be able to read more than other regions other than its native one.

People would save more money, but developers would lose money.

As well, you didn't need to import a Japanese PS2. You could've bought Swap Magic and some mod tools for like 25 bucks and save yourself the trouble.

Yeah but its to much of a hassel! I don't wan't to take apart my ps2 for one game! Swap Magic is to complicated! If it only it was more like FreeLoader! Just put in the FreeLoader Disk then put in the imported game! (is that how it even goes!) I mean come on I am drivining my self crazy I can't even study for my test at school! I alos wan't to trade some of my stuff and get a new copy kh2 because might not be working right! My ps2 has a scratch near the lens but not touching it! So its just outside damage no biggie. Man I wish I can just Import both JP ps2 and the game but I don't even now what type but always has that SCHPH code thingie. Man you guys are so lucky that you can just import. My parents don't trust the computers saying if we give them or Visa Code and steal our money or something. DANM YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY! PLEASE KH2FM+ COME OUT FOR NTSC/US SYSTEMS!

Using it only for one game is a choice *you make*. Therefore it's up to you how you want to use the money you spend you products. No one is telling you to use it only for one game.

If Swap Magic could ever be used like Freeloader I'm sure Datel would've done that by now. But sadly, it's not.

And too much of a hassle? Think for a moment. If you're only going to be using it for *one* game, how is buying a Japanese PS2 ANY better? Would you rather spend 25 bucks for one game? Or over $100 for one game?

Why are you complaining? Are you trying to bring up any discussion? This thread is pointless.
