It's kind of a strange world, just historically speaking. Many clashing cultures thanks to going from hyper-isolationist to "oh god suddenly our universe is like sixty times bigger what the fuck happened." That and they seem to have an equally fervent obsession with America (with equally baffled detractors), so we're like bffs.
