edit: and on top of all of that I'm our of allergy medicine. meaning one way or another I will die this weekend.

Why don't cold fronts and hurricanes mix?

Just asked my mom, and she didn't know, so I'm asking here. c:

It's pretty obvious. Snow and a tropical storm. Together.

It shouldn't have happened, because normally hurricanes that come up the eastern seaboard are pushed out to sea, but because there's a high pressure system coming down from above, it's pushing it into the east coast. And there just happens to be snow coming in from the opposite direction.

So basically all of us over here on the east coast are ****ed.
Although my area is probably just gonna end up with a really bad storm, we're riiiiight on the edge of the bubble.

 

It sounds bad but I can't imagine what'll happen when they mix. The most I've ever seen is a storm that flooded an entire city or two.
