Kingdom Hearts II Whoa wait a sec....

No, i don't have Kh2 FM+ yet but i have a question

since KH2FM+ is in japanese, how do you know like

1. how do you know what abilities you're equiping when it's in japanese?
2. how do you know what items are you using?


just need these question to be answered

 

1. There are lots of translations provided on the internet and here on the forum.
2. Refer to #1.

 

I found a walkthrough, which told me what abilties I get and when, so I know what i'm equiping when i first get them since it will have a new symbol next to it. As for items, it's trial and error for me. XD

 

for the abilities i just look them up online & gotten use to the order of them. For items i memorized some of the Japanese. Plus it is kinda easy as there are pics of them at the side. Also you can tell difference between a potion & a high potion. You eventually get use to it.

 

Out of all the things, the most difficult is probably the synthesis items, but they're covered extensively over the net.

I don't think anyone--despite knowing absolutely any Japanese--will have a problem looking for help regarding how to navigate menus and items, and abilities.

 

It was easy for me as i had played KH:FM just before i got KH2:FM+ so it was still all in my head. Well except for some of the new stuff.

Out of curiosity. Are the FM games worth the annoyence of having to look in a guide every five minutes? Obviously KH1:FM isn't coming out in english ever so that's the only way. But there are A LOT of rumors going arround saying FM+ will end up in the US, and i don't want to go through all the converting and translating if i don't have to.

 

you don't have to look at a guide every 5 mins. you will eventually get use to it. I find it kinda weird to play the englsih version now.

 

It's really up to how much you like the game.

Despite that I know how to read enough Japanese to get through my imports no problem, it was still awkward to play a non-English RPG the first time I played one. You get used to it.

Memory is a really amazing thing. XD You will find you understand a lot of the stuff not because you know what they mean, but you remember what they did and where they are in your menu.

 

Cool....so it's just a method of getting used to it huh?

 

The menu's n' stuff should eventually come natural to you.

 

*ponders* I think I'll order the original FM and see if they bring FM+ over. which square would have to be idiotic not to do with Re:CoM in there and a huge fan base over here. kk thanks

the menu?
the card combos?

i mean how are you going to do that? i mean memorizing those moves is tought right?

 

Just memorize the ones you want to use or use the internet & keep a note of some of the better ones.
Again the menu is easy to use once you learn it.

 

just a photograhic memory is what you need......sweet......

 

I suppose a photograhic memory would be very handy. Unless your like a goldfish then your screwed. (no offence to godfish intended) :p
Nah, it's not so hard to learn, you'll pick out parts in the words & in the descriptions that you can use to help you.

 

ohhhh....okay gotcha, i gotta get money soon....i really want this game!
