Kingdom Hearts who was that guy in the black cloak in the beggining?

remember that guy in KH1 when Sora was alone that said, "you have so much to learn in so little time" or something like that? well, i have no clue who he is. does anyone know?

It was Xehanorts heartless. I think he hid himself because he might not have wanted see him, or because his body was incomplete. Riku looked like that because he had to take on Xehanorts body so he could use the darness again and defeat Roxas. It was the only way, and he did it to help Sora.

 

i think he hid himself cuz he wanted to keep on the downlow u no how bad guys r always wanna be mysterious

 

now that u mentioned it that guy does sound alot like ansem so yea it is him but is xehanorts=ansem?

 

No! Xehanort, Braig, Dylan, Even, Elaeus, and Ienzo were original people in Ansem's group. Ienzo said to continue the heartless project. THis resulted with the 6 assistants losing their hearts. People believe Xehanort went crazy first. Afterwards, Xehanort's Heartless became a human heartless... which is weird. He called himself ANsem to trick people into believing that Ansem was a bad guy. THat make it clear?

 

Xehanort's Gay Heartless. That's who it was.
