Kingdom Hearts II Who was Namine talking to?

Kind of bothers me of Name talking to either Sora or Roxas. It was in the scene where Namine said "we'd meet again, like we promised."

Was she talking to Sora or Roxas. Namine and Roxas promised eachother they'd meet again before Namine was taken away.

Sora promised Namine that they would meet again before he went to sleep. ( I think)

What are your thoughts? Anyone know who she was talking to?

I think she was talking to both of them. But probably slightly more Roxas, since that was more recent.​

 

I agree with her she was talking directly to Roxas in that part since Sora was still asleep.

 

Both of them,not mostly for Roxas or Sora,is just that Roxas aswered first.

 

Yes, I think that Sora and Namine did have a promise to meet again. And so did Roxas and Namine. So I think that she was talking to both of them.

 

Roxas

Roxas was the main one like he said but Roxas is part of Sora so Rly Doesn't matter who she was talking to lol

 

As DiZ once said, "To half of Sora, of course." She was talking to both of them.

 

I always figured she was talking to Roxas through Sora, considering Sora didn't really remember their promise to meet, in restrospect. Though, I suppose it can lead indirectly to him as well in a sort of meant for both aspect.

 

He did i think,in the FM version he says that he didn't say thanks to her when he and Riku are about to face Xemnas.

 

That was still after Naminé went back into Kairi, and with the connection she has with Sora, something Nomura said in a interview, and should be kept in mind, he may or may not have remembered.

Also, you have to think of the scene where Jiminy's Journal said to "Thank Naminé", and by that point, by hearing her name, I think Sora knew who she was. Though, I also suspect unconsciously he was aware, a sort of tugging at the mind.

All that was stated was that it was a hint from the director's mouth, so I guess we'll be able to figure it out once the future sequel comes.

i think it's sora... because she really insist on forcing roxas to remember his true self, what she wants is sora not roxas....

 

maybe she was just referring to both Sora and Roxas

She proismed both of them that they will meet again.

Sora in Com and Roxas in KH2, obiviously.

So I think she was talking to both of them.​

 

I thought she was talking to Roxas before i played Re:Com. But once I beat Re:Com, I figured out she was talking about her, Kairi, Roxas, and Sora.

 

I think she was talking to both of them - mostly to Roxas, as Roxas remembered the promise, unlike Sora.

 

No doubt she was talking to Roxas.

 

I still think she was talking to Roxas. I never thought Sora...She could've been...But I think Roxas. ​

 

I thought in a way she was talking to both of them, but mainly Roxas, and it ended up just being to Roxas and Sora didn't remember about his 'thank Namine' thing until too late because he was surprised.
