Who played the best James Bond?

Yes I know, another "best" thread. But I was just wondering, who do you think was the best played James Bond? Who defined the coolness behind, James Bond?

 

This is going to be a fairly easy answer in my opinion, and that being the majority will say Sean Connery. The man gave James Bond the framework FOR James Bond. Having said this, I honestly can't tell you which one is my personal favorite. I can tell you that I prefer Roger Moore over Timothy Dalton and George Laznby, but Pierce Brosnon tops Roger Moore. Daniel Craig...I love the angle he took with the last Bond movie and I'm excited to see what he has in store in Quantom, however I'm not sure if he is stated in front of, or after Pierce.

I suppose that on a acting scale, It will still have to go to Sean Connery.

 

dont' like the new one. it doesn't even remotely look like the old one at all (the one that was in the movie where the dude didn't feel pain)

 

I think Sean Connery and Pierce Bronson both played the parts well.

Though I do like Daniel Craig as him.. but he is yet to shine much yet x3

 

I like Roger Moore the most. He also has the best films. Like Octopussy, A View To Kill, Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only.

Sean Connery would be second, though.

 

I think that Sean Connery was the best. Daniel Craig was good too, but he's not "James Bond" He's more of a rebel and kind of...doin' his own thing. I think Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore were next in line.

I grew up watching Pierce.

 

For some reason, I liked Daniel Craig out of all of them. I just like his style.

 

Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond only because I grew up watching those ones when they came out but I also watched the old ones but still prefered the newer ones of the time.

 

Pierce Brosnan had the awesomest Bond films, like Goldeneye and Die Another Day. He makes a really good, modern, Bond.

 

Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan They both have good and bad but i think both protayed Bond very well diddnt much care for Casino Royale it was ok though Daniel Craig is still new it will take sometime to get used to.

 

Timothy Dalton was good, but most people don't seem to think so.

Daniel Craig sucks major ass at being Bond, I adore him as an actor, but damn, get him away from 007.


I think the best was Sean Connery, yes I know, it seems that is the stereotypical answer, but I think he was the best. There was something incredibly sexy about the way he played Bond. Plus he is a ****awesome actor.

 

i would have to say Pierce Brosnan. he has done some great 007 movies one of my favourites is Die another day

 

Daniel Craig all the way he is a sex pot and everyone knows it :)

 

this is a hard choice.they were all pretty good bonds.i'm going to have to say moore,then conery,dalton,brosan,craig,lazenby.

 

Pierce Brosnan, hands down. ;D Mostly because Golden Eye was 1) my favorite movie from 007 and 2) was my favorite game back in the day.

 

I use to have (not really serious) arguements with my Dad about that he says Sean Connery I say Pierce Brosnan

he made an awesome James Bond x3 so charming

 

I voted for Pierce Brosnan. It was a close call between him and Sean Connery but I think I've just seen more films with Brosnan.
