358/2 Days Who is the main character: Xion or Roxas?

At first I thought Roxas was the main character but after seeing some of the new trailers I think the plot has just shifted to Xion...
Who do you think will be more important.

 

well yes Xion will be an integral central part of the plot but in terms of video games it is generally accepted that the playable character is the main protagonist of the story.
the main character is Roxas.

Xion would be right under him on focus of the game though.

Either way, you know something is wrong when someone actually questions who's the main character.

 

Roxas. He is the main playable character so you'll be following his perspective during the entire game. I'd say Xion is more of a key character, like Naminé was in Chain of Memories.

No. Lots of magnificent stories have created arguments on who is the main character. It has no effect on your story if it's presented in a slick fashion. I take it you've never heard of Xenosaga?
And I'm not even talking about ensemble casts.

 

It's Roxas, but Xion will also have a big role in this video game, which you all know.
It appears they are not showing much of Roxas in the cutscenes. I'm very unhappy about that.
It gives me less videos to dub.

Roxas obviously, The story is all about him. you also play as him. There is no doubt that he is the main character.

 

Roxas definetley. The plot seems to be about Roxas' relations to Xion,and whatever she does, the plot comes back to Roxas.

Besides, I don't think Disney or Square will want to let go of the fact that Roxas is basically Sora, in a different form. They'll maybe want you to play as Roxas to emphasise the similarities.

Hmmm. I think the title suggests that there may not be a specified main character. 358/2 days suggests to me you may have to play half the game as Roxas, and half of it as Xion. Kind of.

 

Roxas. Xion though, does have a big role. And i dont think u even get xion as a party member. Though I've seen some gameplay videos where roxas had an orgainzation member with him, but he/she had his/her hood on. And if it is, Xion can spew fire xD

Idk. because I'd say the main character is who you play as to an extent and I bet a lot of it would be Xion Roxas and Axel because them three hang out a lot

 

I'd have to say it's Roxas. I don't find Roxas tremendously interesting really so I am glad Xion, Axel, Riku and other Org members are in it so that there are other people I will want to play the game for, but I'm sure the main character will be Roxas since even the title refers to him. Maybe the other characters are getting a little more promoting so that we can see there are other elements to the game but I doubt that means Roxas is not the central character.

 

Strange that you play as Roxas, because he's barely in the trailer. It all centers around Xion. I actually think it would be cool if she was the main character--the Kingdom Hearts series hasn't had a main protaganist be female yet, so that would be an interesting change.

 

Roxas is. You don't actually see Xion too much for most of the game, including the last half.

 

This is Roxas's small part of the story. But Xion is the driving force for the plot of this game.
