Kingdom Hearts Who else went crazy when...

... You had to find your way to the castle chapel? It took me like 3 weeks to get to it and then you have to kill maleficent (which took me an extra week) and by the time Id finished that I was tempted to throw the ps2 out the window. Later maleficent/Dragon thing came along and i was like STFU and killed it and riku/ansem in one day.

So, yeah. EXTREMELY annoying.

 

Wow...it took you a week to defeat Malificent but it only took you a day to defeat Riku/Ansem? It took me like a day to defeat Malificent (since if you got the Olympus keyblade, the battle was much easier) and a week to defeat Riku/Ansem.

But, yeah it was very difficult for me and it was very annoying, too. So, your not alone.

 

i was getting annoyed too. i had to look for a stratagy guide on the internet. both malifacent fights were easy for me (thanks to tinkerbell) it took me about 2 weeks to kill riku/ansem though.

 

The stragety guide made it seem so short but it was like an endless ordeal. DAMN THOSE DARK BALLS!

Riku/Ansem took me a LONG time even with my stragety guide.

 

Wow, sorta pathetic that it took you a month to do just that. I had beaten the entire game in less than one week. Malificent was easy if you had the Olympus keyblade(probably the mistake you had).

 

It took me an hour.

 

What did? The battle or the entire game?

 

When i reached the Chapel i was well chuft. I thought that castle was a pain when i first played it. I was annoyed to find i had to then fight Malificent, not once, but twice. Luckily she was a piece of cake.

Riku was hard. It took like 4 or 5 shots to beat him.

Don't get me started on Final mix. Malificent was a lot harder then.

 

xD I kept getting lost. The fights were easy, but it took me hours to find my way around.

 

I can't see how one can get lost in there.

 

it really wasn't that hard for me that part. But stupid ansem took me a while to beat.

 

I thought the most difficult parts were the first Riku battle and finding the Castle Chapel. After that everything was beyond simple.

 

I had a hard time finding the chapel but Maleficent was easy it was riku after her that really annoyed me

 

When I was playing the game only with Kingdom Key, it took me forever to beat Maleficent's dragon form.

 

To me those battles were easy. The only boss I died on was Dragon Malificent.

There was a lot of running around Hollow Bastion though.


The real killers bosses were the Phantom, Kurt Ziza, and the man himself Sephiroth.



Oh, and if you guys want a real chanllenge. Try disableing "Gaurd" and taking on the Ice Golem. Yes it can be done. But it takes hours.

 

Reach the Castle Chapel took me like two hours. I had a a big headache that day, and more with Maleficient and Riku/Ansem. Fortunately, I defeated them in the same day. For me, Riku/Ansem was more hard to beat.

 

Huh...I finished that world in like 30 minutes...

 

Omg...it takes forever to reach Maleficent! And I had a strategy guide, too! I was so proud of myself when I finally reached Maleficent. I beat her in one try, but it took me eight tries to beat her as a dragon. I think Riku/Ansem took me...three times? Something like that. Maybe four or five. But yeah, that section of the game is stressful. I was so relieved once I defeated Riku/Ansem...I just knew I had that freaking Behemoth (you have to defeat a million of those idiotic things!) and Ansem to look forward to.

 

Yes the whole castle was crazy in my opinion....who knows how many days I spent trying to get places on that level lol....

 

i first got there, got all depressed that i lost the keyblade. got lost, opened the front door. got very lost. finally made it to the front door and beat up riku easily with the help of tinkerbell & donald & goofy. i laughed cuz i was all powerful now and at the beginning he kicked my ***. so then the entire puzzle thing took like a week, but it was worth it and fun! it made the game longer and immersive. maleficent was SO easy to kill, probly cuz i got lost and levelled up XD. and the dragon was easy. i was at the edge of my seat at the riku/ansem fight, i almost died, but i made it. all in all hollow bastion was so much fun. fighting, getting lost, music, magic, the story. i think hollow bastion is what really made me love KH so much. and ofcourse the last world & the funness of the other worlds. but hollow bastion is an original world that felt like the perfect combination of the disney magic and excellent game design/story. the music is absolutly mystifying. and yes getting lost on the way to castle chapel was fun, i like the freedom to roam around. :)
