What person do you have most respect for?

The one I have most respect for my father. I've heard many people at my age don't have the slightest bit of respect for their parents, but I see that they would do anything for me. Well, me father at least. So what about you?

She is one of the few people that I actually care of what they think of me. ​

Both my mom and my dad. They try their best to know me, and they also take really good care of me. They also try to help me when I'm having bad times, and such...

Also, I respect most members on this site. There's some pretty nice people on here that really try hard to have patience with other members, and not explode. XD

Parents, friends, some people who made history.

 

The Military. Think about it - everyone else lives normal lives, almost never putting themselves in danger, waking up and sleeping at normal hours, in normal conditions. Soldiers can get attacked and killed at any hour of the day or night, they live in highly abnormal and, to us, uncomfortable conditions, and they do all of this out of a respect for the freedom of a country that doesn't even have the gratitude to welcome them home or help them assimilate back into civilian life. They are truly my heroes.

 

I've always heard of people who say the army are made up of heroes. But no one has explained it before. And I guess I never thought about it like that.

And I mostly respect my sister and my older brother. They always give me good advice and help. <3

 

I have teh most respect for my mother, my only sister, and my boyfriend :3

So many people... I guess my mother, most of all, because she has given up a lot for my sisters and me. But certainly the police force, the military, etc, because I wouldn't have the courage to put my life on the line to protect people. I know that sounds selfish, but I'm just not that brave. A select few of my non-family members, too, like the few friends I know would do so much for me.​

 

How have you not been banned? This is a serious topic, for serious responses, not the f***ing spam zone. The rest of us are giving real responses, not total **** like you.

 

I only give respect to those who deserved it and no one more.

 

I have the most respect for my friends because i have to deal with them everyday...and i mean everyday......^.^

I actually don't show respect for anybody. Even complete strangers. I have abused the elderly, no respect for my family and have shown no respect for small children. I have no respect for the police seeing as I've been caught by them for many reasons, none of them being directly my fault, so most of the time I just run now. But I think I've learnt to pay fake respect to strangers and my friends family members as I don't want to be considered 'wrong for their child'. But I think now-a-days I show most respect to those of whom I care for.

 

I don't know.

There are plenty of people I respect, it's a bit difficult to gauge who I hold in the highest esteem.

One person that immediately comes to mind is my dad. He's not perfect, I get annoyed with him a lot, but he's a wonderful father and I have trouble seeing a life wthout him.

The last part is really sexist, this is why human rights were brought in. People should respect women as well as men as we are all equal. I don't see why people respect men more, because men should actually respect women more as we will cause more pain than a man ever could. I'm sorry, but this sexist statement is beginning to irritate me.

 

That joke should've never been created, seeing as I'm only 13, kind of making me think you think I have a family of my own. I take a lot of pride in being a woman, as much as I doubt it, I'm proud to be a woman, and like the respect I do recieve, because I can show guys that we aren't just sl*ts and slaves to be ordered around all the time, we are intelligent, beautiful people. And I think you'll find the little box of pixels you're staring at right now wouldn't actually be around if it weren't for a woman.

 

Men invented computers, child.

Men designed the machinery that make those computers.

Men built the factories which house the machinery that make those computers.

Men founded the materials which those pieces of machinery use to make those computers.

Men discovered and harnessed the electricity which powers the machinery which make those computers which subsequently run on that same electricity.

Where were the women when all of this was taking place? At home with a warm meal and a pipe waiting to take a dicking from the people doing the real work.

 

Women were giving birth to all those men. Women were, in prehistoric times, growing the food for all those men. Women have done more for our society than men ever have. AND, women never started a war. Wars were started over them, but they never started them.

 

This was the equivalent to being in the kitchen back then.
