I looked out the window of my New Domino City apartment and saw a gray clouded colored sky. I was really bored I didn’t do much today. It was Tuesday and because of the way my collage class schedule was assigned to me I had no classes today. My aunt and grandma weren’t doing a lot either. They just sat on the couch watching TV. I decided to see if I go for a walk. It may have been cloudy but it wasn’t raining. “May I go for a walk grandma?†She looked at me for a few moments before saying “Sure just be careful now and be sure to put a coat on.†“Ok I will.†I said as I headed toward the closet to grab a coat to ware. I also grabbed my white and pink colored backpack, due to the fact that it had my duel disk inside it. I decided to bring it just in case someone challenged me to a duel. When you get challenged to a duel sometimes it will be by people that just want a friendly duel. Others will challenge you for your rare cards these are the people that everyone preferred to stay away from. These people were mainly from the Satellite area. The ones that challenged you to a friendly duel were of course from the city. “Alright I’ll see you later.†I said as I began to head out the door. “Ok have fun.†I heard my aunt and grandma say at the same time. I walked down the hall and headed towards the elevator. When I pushed the down button and it opened. I noticed that the elevator was clean of anyone else. I headed inside and pushed one. When the door had opened I quickly walked through the main lobby. “Ah, Kristen out for your usual walk I see.†An elderly woman known as Zora said. She was standing at the front desk as usual. She wasn’t a regular worker like all the others. She was the landlord of the apartment. “Yes I am.†I said as I came to a sudden halt. “Ok well just make sure you come back safely.†She said with a smile. I gave a nod and headed out the door. Not a lot of people were out. Probably because they knew it could rain at any time with these gray clouds out right now. I walked around for about halve an hour but that’s when something white colored in the cross walk caught my attraction. I looked both ways and looked to make sure the cross walk sign said that I could go. I quickly walked to where the white colored rose was laying and picked it up. When I finished crossing the street I put the rose in my backpack. That’s when I felt something strange. It felt like the white rose was somehow telling me to get it out of the backpack. I set my backpack down on the ground and retrieved the rose. When I put my backpack over my back I felt the rose begin to pull me. I ran holding it out in front of me. A couple of minutes later the rose came to a dead end at an alleyway. All I could see in front of me was a brick wall. I expected the rose to react to this but when I looked down I noticed that it was no longer glowing. I walked up to the wall and lightly brushed the rose against the wall. “Ekkk†I shrieked as the wall began to open up in front of me. “Wow†I said in amazement at what I saw. It was an entire garden that consisted of a pond, white rose bushes, tall trees and oddly enough a wooden cabin. I decide to go knock on the door. As I walked towards the cabin I heard the wall close shut. “Hello†I said as I knocked on the door. I waited a minute there was no answer. “Hello†I said as I tried knocking on the door once more. There still was no answer. I turned the doorknob to see if it was unlocked. Thankfully it was so I went inside. “There you are my dear. I was waiting for you to come inside.†A man coming down the stairs said. He appeared to be in his early thirty’s. He was tall, had brown eyes, brown short hair, wearing white shoes with a white robe. “I’m sorry but who are you?†“You can just call me the father of the white rose.†He replied as he took my face into his hands. I did not pull away from him. For some odd reason I knew he wasn’t going to harm me. In fact, I felt just the opposite around him safe and secure as if he was my real father. “I have been waiting for you for quite some time now Kristen.†“How does he know my name?†I thought to myself. I figured it would be best not to ask him and let the man continue. He slowly let his hands fall from my face. Then he pulled me into a warm loving embrace. I slowly closed my eyes and let my head fall on his chest. “Kristen you are the one distend to be the White Rose Dragon.†“The White Rose Dragon?†I asked lifting my head up off of the man’s chest. “Yes the White Rose Dragon†He repeated “bring the white rose with you and you’ll understand.†Once we were outside I asked “Ok now what do I do?†The man looked at the rose which began to glow. Suddenly the ground began to tremble for a few moments. A white square shaped stone appeared from underneath the ground in front of one of the white rose bushes. I headed over to the stone. I noticed that the stone had a carving resembling a rose. I set the rose gently inside the spot of the carving. That was when all but the white rose petals dissolved. I stood there for a moment but the rose petals did not react. I gently picked up the now separated rose petals. Then I slowly opened my hand which held the rose petals and laid it out flat. That’s when my hand went completely numb and the petals began to sink into my hand. After the petals had disappeared into my hand my whole body suddenly went numb. When the feeling returned to my body I walked over to the pond to see my reflection. My hair had become white rose petals as well as my body; I had a black colored face, neck and legs, white colored talons, green eyes, white rose pedaled wings in place of my arms and hands, and white colored line markings on my neck and my several black thorn like tails. “You are now the White Rose Dragon.†The man said walking up to me. “I’m afraid my job here is done.†“Were will you be going?†I asked as I took my human form. He shrugged “Wherever life takes me I guess.†“Well good luck to you.†“Good luck to you as well.†He said with a smile. With that the walls opened up and we headed outside to the alleyway. He headed one way and I headed the way I had come. I was heading for home.
