Kingdom Hearts White mushroooms

What exactly is the deal with the non-attacking mushroom heartless?
According to Jiminy's journal they might give me rewards or something if I help them but what am I supposed to do to them?

 

Watch what they are doing and use the right magic attack. They give you clues like when they fan themselves, or have a light bulb above their head, or shiver! If you get three in a row right, they give you gifts!

You get the Mystery Goo from them for getting the magic spells right, which I believe was a requirement for Ultima in KH1. So they're not completely useless. ;p

When they shiver use fire
When they fan themselves use blizzard
When they have a lightbulb shock them
