    tough one.

i'd have to say the ps2 version (Re: CoM) because of the voices, enhanced graphics, etc.

The voices and the graphics are a really nice addition, as I think Chain of Memories has one of the better storylines in the series. But I find Re:Chain of Memories to be a lot harder than the original, haha. (still stuck at Riku Replica IV >>)

Re: Chain of Memories ultimately has my vote, but then again, I hear they've changed around one of my absolute *favorite* parts in Reverse/Rebirth, which I'm not happy about. I'll have to see if I ever get up to it. :d

Re:Chain of Memories for the PS2 is pretty much better. It helps make the story more life-like and not so flat. There's more to do even, (Since January oflast year, I'm still fully completing the Organization XIII card collection for all modes of the game I've complete).

Then again, though my vote is indefinately with the PS2 version, I have to say that the animations, sprites and all other aspects of the GBA version are indisposable all the same.

I ultimately would vote Re;Com, because of the graphics, voices, and I actually have the system. It was easier to grasp the battle system, and cool to hear the Organization's voices, and the way they reacted to things, instead of little arms waving around.

It was harder to beat, and it took up way too much time, but it's still better then the originial Chain of Memories. It was also easier to obtain.

    Re: Chain of Memories.

Superb voice casting and excellent graphics.

Misty: I sympathize Misty, I hated Riku IV. To beat him just keep 3 zero cards handy, and pack your deck with some ranged cards, like fire, for so sleight power. If you'd prefer a bashing him over the head approach, try leveling up to about 1000 CP, and packing the deck with level 4-5 cards, also good for sleighting if you have MANY.

Thats a hard one, I'm playing the original now, but I like RE too V_V

I think I will have to go with Re: COM as I enjoy the battles more in that one

Re:CoM was better for me for the following reasons:

    1. You can choose difficulty settings (I only beat the game on the easiest mode and never attempted the others)
    2. Voice actors and better graphics
    3. Theater mode
    4. New cards (like the Org XIII ones ^_^)

Though I actually found the original harder, the one good thing about it was the multiplayer mode. It was the first multiplayer in KH history. I never actually got to try it since no one I knew bought the game, but it was nice knowing I have that option, where as Re:CoM had no multiplayer whatsoever.

    In conclusion, PS2 version ROCKS!

I actually have only beaten the GBA version. I have played about half of Re: CoM, but never beaten it. It is plain to see that the latter is of higher quality and playability. It has my vote of being "better."

I haven't completed Re:CoM yet -- I got bored with it, actually. I much prefer the original, and CoM is arguably my favorite in the series, story-wise. I felt the dialogue was easier to take seriously when not spoken (I also felt the English VAs were poorly directed in Re:CoM), and the battle system worked better for the GBA. I don't know why, but it felt less immersive for me on the PS2.

So I guess I'll go with the GBA version for now, it could change when I finally get around to finishing Re:CoM I suppose x: .

I'm going on Re:CoM on this one, mainly because I never played CoM and in fact didn't know it exsisted until after I bought Re:CoM.

    For the obvious reasons:
    -Voice actors
    -Graphics
    -Enhanced enviorment

    -etc, etc...

Obviously the remake is better. The only thing the original had was being able to play it on the go.

To me, the original GBA game is superior. Not from any graphical differences, or because of gameplay, or even due to story. I consider it to be better, because it actually came out of the US. RECOM, on the other hand, did not. So I never got to play it.

A flaw in the game that makes it completely unplayable for the entirety of the UK is more than enough to drop it below a GBA game in terms of standing in my eyes.

By a direct comparison RE:CoM but really you are talking about at a 32-bit handheld system and comparing it to a 64-bit console. The original CoM did a much better job of utilizing the system it was on, it even had a few cut-scenes which was very rare for the GBA.

For me, the original GBA version was better. I had almost finished it, but never did.
With the PS2 ver. I just couldn't play it. It was really boring to me. Sure, it has better graphics and sounds but for me the original was better.

Original. So much easier and was my first KH game. I Couldn't even finish Re:COM. I liked the face you could see what every enemy was doing too. Plus when in RE:COM you pretty much had to play a card that was higher than the enemies highest card or other wise they WOULD break it.

I like the dialogue in the gameboy version better, but I enjoy this one because cutscenes are amazing and Vexen's voice entertains me. Also, in the scene where Vexen explodes, it was not even slightly amusing to me in the original, but in the ps2 version, I screamed with terror and excitement. There are things I like from both, but when it comes down to it, I like the ps2 version best.
