    Lenin

    Or

    Stalin

I just wanted to know because we just started to learn about both of them in Sociology...

Lenin may have kicked the whole shebang off, but Stalin put millions of people into gulags for opposing him. He probably killed more people than Hitler and Mussolini combined. Stalin is by far worse.

Stalin. Lenin, at least, knew what it meant to be a true Communist.

I said that because to my knowledge, Lenin wasn't a totalitarian son of a gun like Stalin was. Communism is about freedom, not oppression.

Hitler didn't sucessfully invade Russia, his troops withdrew once they couldnt face the Russian cold.

Stalin was far worse. Worse dictator than Hitler, and killed millions more.

They weren't, most Soviets worshiped Stalin despite everything he did.

Stalin was worse by a landslide. Lenin at least tried to save the economy by being a bit more lenient about the socialist thing. Stalin re-did the economy again after Lenin's death so that it followed every socialist rule (eg. the five-year plan).
Not to mention that he slaughtered millions of people, and was still popular amongst a good part of his people.
