Which one was more difficult?

I played both kh,in expert and proud mode,and i realised,that kh is far more difficult than kh2.In kh you have to think more about your items and stuff,since there are no super finisher skills like in kh2,or obtaining new forms through drive.Kh2,was showing off sora,as if he was the strongest guy on earth... :S(NOT!)In addition, donald and goofy are FAR stronger in kh than in kh2,thus making them seem MUCH weaker than sora in kh2!Does anyone else think the same??? >_>

Of course KH1 seems more difficult that KHII. If you've played KHII before KH1, you'll not only be pressing the wrong jump button, but you'll be rapidly pressing the RC button as well. :xp:

However, it'll take some time to readjust to the different playing styles of either game.

Not to mention KHII is basically KH1 with improved features in it.

And Donald and Goofy have been dumbed down in KHII because it upset the balance of KH1 when all you had to do was turtle fights. :huh:

 

I found Kh1 harder. The MP was trickey to understand because it was in blocks and also, limits were difficult to use. The summons weren't that useful either.

I played kh2 first tho so I am a little biast.

 

KH1, one of many reasons why I prefer that one to KH2. ;)

 

I really didn't find KH1 to present much of a challenge to me. I got through most of the game with relative ease and beat it within 3 or 4 weeks? KH2 on the other hand (not the American version but FM+ on Critical Mode) was a different story. Never in my life had I seen sooo many continue screens. It was the first time I had ever used Mickey as well because in the US release, I rarely lost period.

 

My best friend and I agree, KH1 was much harder than KH2, even on proud mode.​

 

I agree with amberdslovick. I think that KH1 was harder than KH2.

But that's probably because if you play them in chronological order, you'll have more experience when you play KH2 because you've already played KH1...​

 

But even if you play them the other way (kh2 then kh1) kh1 still seems harder.​

 

To be honest, both games weren't hard at all. Kh1 was just basics compared to kh2. Kh2 only seems easier because you have those cool flashy techniques, but you have to realize that Sora matures between those two games. So it's natural that he'd learn those cool techniques.

In kh1; I admit; Sora is slow; but you can easily get the hang of things within 5 minutes. xD So, I don't really think the two games are hard at all. Trust me, the difficulty levels are just there to pych(<---Spelling?) you out.

 

Kh1 was harder for me...

 

The only thing hard about KH1 was the bonus bosses. I died on my first attempt of Seph, Kurt Ziza, and Phantom.

The only normal boss I've lost to in KH 1 on expert (i played expert my first time through) was Chernabog, and Ansem (the second boss, right afte Darkside), and Guard Armor (I had no abilities equipped the first time, I didnt even know what an ability was at this point). Oh yeah, and I did not summon at all in KH1, I though it was a waste of MP. It wasnt till after I beat the bosses that I discovered Tinkerbell.


Ok, but on KH2, I've lost to bosses here and there. Mickey saved me my first time around on Cerberous, and Xaldin.

Also, I died on the Space Paranoids Light Rider battle, Saix, Armored Xemnas, Final Xemnas (a couple of times), and a couple of other bosses here and there.

And of course Sephie...


Ok, just to let you know how good I got on KH 1... I beat the Ice golem without gaurd. So, :P

Bottom line, KH1 is simpler, and easier.

 

I Played KH2 First And KH1 Was Harder By A Mile Especially Since They Leave You Clueless In KH1

i like Kh2 better anyway XD

 

i beat kh2 on proud mode easilllyyy but kh1 on expert...damn i cant even get past guardarmor...

 

I would have to say that KH1 is a whole lot harder then KH2! First you have to learn the controls like Destiny said before, the bosses take longer to defeat than in KH2 where it takes a few hits to bring their life half way down and a ton of other reasons...

 

kingdom hearts 1 is a helluva lot harder than kh2

 

I thought kh1 was more difficult. I think it's because it involved a lot more thinking and effort on the player's part. I remember there were times during my first play through when I hadn't a clue of where I was supposed to be. Kh2 seemed to be much more specific on that front. As for fights and battles and whatnot, I played kh1 on easy and then kh2 on proud, even playing on those different difficulty levels kh2 was much easier.

 

i actualy beat kh2 be4 kh1 o_O so yea kh1 is wayz harder

 

yeah kh1 is hader, but still, i can beat it in 2 days

IMO kh1 is better.

EDIT: mainly because hollow bastion was so epic, and the story was epic.

 

Although I thought they were both pretty easy on proud and expert, I'm going to Kingdom Hearts. Mainly cuz the attacks are more "freeflowing" and less chained combos which made a big difference in KH2.
