Square-Enix Which is the best Final Fantasy game?

So far there are many Final Fantasy games not to mention the ones in between but which is the best? I personally think it is Final Fantasy 7 (even though i'm still playing it) because of the serious storyline and *colourful* characters. Sorry if this is in the wrong place i'm kinda new and this is my first thread

 

I think this belongs in General Game Chat. But, I'm not sure.

I think Final Fantasy 1 is the best of its time.

 

FFVIII.

Yeah, the gameplay was really boring, but it had some of my favourite characters in it. Along with the characters, the only thing keeping me interested was wanting to find out more about Squall and Rinoa XD I can honestly say, though, that once I completed it, I never played it again.

I think it definately needs a PS2/3 re-make. If they did that, along with the upgraded graphics and VOICES, I'd definately buy it ;)

 

FFX.

Easily.

I loved the game and story line in ever way. The sphere grid, and other stuff like that added even more extras, ontop of other side-quests.

 

I like FFXII... but maybe I think that because it's the only FF game I've ever played. ._.

 

My favourites are FFVII & FFX, but my favourite one out of them... oh so hard to choose... i would have to say FFVII, it was the first one for me to play & i fell in love with it. Amazing characters, a deep story with lots of twists in it, classic. :D

 

Personally, I think Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus becuase you are actually able to move around during battle and control when you fire your attacks. All other Final Fantasy games don't do this.

Final Fantasy VII!!! It's my FAVORITE game EVER!! I love the characters, story, gameplay, battles, music, EVERYTHING in it!!! So...yeah....

 

Everyone says FFVII. >_>

I'd say FFVIII.

 

Eh, I like Final Fantasy in general.

 

i have to say FFX it was my first RPG and will alwasy be the best in my eyes, but FFVII is a very close 2nd.

Why?


Everything. The gameplay; loved it The story; loved it The level and skill system; loved it

I can hoenstly say it's the only FF I've played that I can play over and over and enjoy it.

 

Its a tie for me...FF7 and FF10. Both are just great FF games.

 

FFVII basically because I like those Characters and it was very emotional because Aeris died.

 

I'd have to say, oh, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, and FFX-2. They're all good games, and I've played them all. But haven't beat them yet. Some boss fights are tough.

 

Hands down FFX! I just loved it, there was so much extra to do instead of just running through, like getting all the overdrive modes (getting Auron as coward nearly killed me! A thousand fights for crying out loud! ) getting the special weapons, oh yeah I rule I actually did the lightnening dodge! And Blitzball, I swear I am obsessed with blitzball, my team kicks ***!

Anywayz also the storyline was uber good, the graphics were amazing! It was just a brilliant game! (hehehe I cried at the end! :( ) Plus I loved the sphere grid concept! And how you could pretty much pick and choose attributes eg fill the whole grid with hp speheres if you so wanted!

After that it's a tie between 7 (so cliched to say that) and 8 (Zell rocks!)

I think Final Fantasy-VII is a fav and love but I also like FF-X
