Where do you want the final battle?

Now this is a question ive been pondering, where will the final battle of kingdom hearts 3 take place? i think personally it should take place in the keyblade graveyard. where do you think it should be and why?

 

Well, final battles in the past have taken place in completely arbitrary locations. in KH1 we had the world of chaos, we had that weird alternate dimension thing for Marlxuia, that weird nothingness realm for Xemnas.
But honestly, all things considered, the final battle of KH3 will probably take place in the Station of Awakening or something tot hat effect

 

Either what Hatok said, or the Keyblade Graveyard. But I doubt it since the final battle in BbS took place there.

 

What hatok said... Kinda. I have always had it in my mind that Dive into the heart was really the world inside of Kingdom hearts in a less complete state. Like when they get to kingdom hearts and everything suddenly goes the good guys way, it will get brighter and possibly all the hearts that are scattered may unite. that is my hypothesis anyway.

 

I think that the final battle could be at Disney Castle, that would be pretty cool

 

Having the final battle at those places where.... hmm. Ok... does anyone remember in Blank Points all like, the people who needed help were saying Sora's name (7:44 on the video below.) It would be cool if at all those places, the final battle would be fought there kind of like when we were fighting the final boss in 358/2 Days, cause it's a reminder of all the hurt and pain and trouble that Xehanort caused everyone. Namine, Roxas, Xion, Axel, Aqua, Terra, Ven, Kairi, Riku and even Sora.

Minor Spoilers, but nothing you probably haven't heard already.

Namine was forced to erase Sora's memory and change it to how the organization saw fit, and now Sora can't remember anything about meeting her, even though thats what she really wanted. Roxas was also forced to work in the organization, and with all the other members (But Axel) Who thought he was just a puppet, he lost Xion and has no memory of her. Xion died trying to help Sora get his memories back, and she was treated like she was just a toy when she worked with the organization members, and saying goodbye to Roxas must've broken both of their hearts. Axel had to keep things from Xion and Roxas, he got stuck with taking out Xion even though he didn't have the heart to do it, he lost Roxas who was his best friend and he ended up dying to help Sora in KH2.

I'm not going through all of these, but you probably have gotten my point by now, Xehanort has caused Major problems and suffering for these characters, and most of them no one remembers. (In game, don't worry Xion we love you) (^_^)I think that the characters that were hurt the most, should be remembered, even though again, in the games they are mostly forgotten (Ya Mickey, all those years you could've remembered Aqua and the others?) Anyway, getting off track, my answer is Twilight Town's Mansion in Namine's room, Twilight Town's Clock Tower, The Land Of Departure in the place where Aqua gave Terra and Ven the Wayfinders, The Realm Of Darkness, just cause. And of course Destiny Islands for Riku, Kairi and Sora. After fights in those places, we will be brought back to whatever place we started (Found Xehanort in) and a cutscene will play etc.

It doesn't really matter where we want it now does it? If I remember Master Xehanort said in Dream Drop Distance that they were going to meet at "the fated place" and shortly after he might have said the Keyblade Graveyard. But yeah, you guys have nice suggestions and all but it's more than likely going to be in the Keyblade Graveyard.

I think the final battle should be where it all started at Destiny Islands

 

Back at the "fated place", where everything started (for sora and riku anyway). Itll eaither b Destiny Islands, Kingdom Hearts, or the Keyblade graveyard.
personally id like to see it at destiny islands, the atmosphere just like it was when Sora first got the keyblade. Dark, gloomy, hecktic, being taken over by darkness. all while battling the final boss.
Or better yet, battling 2-3 bosses at the same time. thatd b kinda cool too :)

 

Station of Awakening or Keyblade Graveyard maybe. Thats where old Sora was in the opening of DDD fighting Xehanort. or on that Heart Shaped moon.

Wait... Didn't Xehanort say that it has to be at the Keyblade Graveyard?

 

The most common answer would be Keyblade Graveyard, but in my opinion, I wish it could be another place. It's just that the Graveyard is such a dull and colorless place to be in during a final boss fight. At least in KH2, the Xemnas fight had a lot going on in the background. I'm hoping it could take place on Kingdom Hears itself or maybe even a disformed version of Destiny Islands. Hell...maybe it'll be a shapeshifting battlefield, going from one place to another, maybe including all the Disney worlds (with costume changes to Sora) and KH worlds, eventually ending back to the 3 places I stated.

 

One thing to consider in all this is that we've got this 7 on 13 deal going on. So while I believe the keyblade graveyard will serve as a sort of final battle hub, we could easily see several locations being involved. And it is a good bet that Kingdom Hearts itself will also likely be used.

I've also had thoughts similar to FloodofTwilight; where if the representation of entering a normal heart is a stained glass platform, then entering Kingdom hearts is likely turning that up to 11 like a stained glass castle or something.

 

Not just for Sora and Riku, but for MX as well. In BBS, it showed Young Xehanort on the beach contemplating the smallness of the world. I think it would be a great location for the final battle. Where it started, it shall end and whatnot.

It doesn't really have to be Destiny Islands. I would like for it to be a location with meaning to it though, rather than just some arbitrary location. Those were fine for the first few games, but for the finale, it should be more meaningful to the series.

 

I personally think it's going to take place at the Keyblade Graveyard then work its way into Kingdom Hearts. What I would LOVE to see is the original plan for Xemnas' boss in Kingdom Hearts II: http://i.imgur.com/oke18.png. I think finally seeing that boss in-game would be absolutely incredible.

 

I think more of Radiant Garden, land of deaperture or Kingdom hearts

 

I agree that it should be in the Keyblade Graveyard. The battle there in BBS never concluded, so I think everything needs to be finished there. The place where it all started is the place where it needs to be finished. Don't you think?
