When heading into Gamestop yesterday

I thought I saw a sign that said that the 3DS had a price-drop from $199 to $99. I swear, on the front door there was a sticker that looked like it was saying that. I wish it had been right. But I asked and the lady at the counter told me that it was only dropped from $199 to $169. Who wishes I was right and it was down to 99-dollars?

I got that piece of crap on release day. I wish I had waited. Lesson learned.​

 

Same... and when my grandma found out about the price drop she was less then pleased with me...

 

My parents bought me one at the original price without me spending a single penny so I'm fine.

but yea, it dropping to 100 USD would be nice

 

That'd be super with me, especially since there's a purple one now and I want it so bad. I'll wait until there's more of a library for it, and probably also when I come back from my...uh..trip.

 

I only paid 25 dollars for it.










That's because I used all gift cards I saved from Christmas. I just bought it last week. The guy asked "any games with it"? I replied "no. Just Kingdom Herats 3D when it releases".

 

ALWAYS wait! Trust me..I always find it good to wait a few months then start sniping the pre-owned yet perfect condition ones~

 

Funny, when I walk into GameStop they either ignore me because I'm female or don't stop pestering me because I'm female.

I notice this a lot more than the whole ignoring thing. I get the feeling that they sometimes assume that I don't know anything about video games because I'm a girl? Hah. I mean maybe that's just me being crazy but I went in there once and was browsing the games. An employee came up to me, as they're probably forced to do, and he's like "can I help you etc." We began taking and eventually he asked what kind of games I liked. I said my favorites were probably the Kingdom Hearts series (actually I said that I was a huge fan) and he suggested playing Final Fantasy.

... Like for real? I mean I know it's well-intentioned and he's just doing his job and all but... come on. That is kind of obvious.

I should start taking notes of this stuff. Wanna make sure that if I get a job at Gamestop, I don't make the customers annoyed or whatever. And also, I swear I've gotten the same thing with some people at gamestop. I mean, it doesn't really matter if it's a male or female, but(and no offense to this) I swear the females are doing the exact same thing to me. It's kinda weird, and somewhat annoying.

And it's kinda funny how I start 2 threads about games/gamestop and I find out some interesting info. *writes down in notebook*
