Mine would have to be Chain of Memories for the Game Boy Advance. I have played through that game so many times, and I have bought at least five copies of that game. It's a fun game that has no one way strategy (excluding most bosses), so it allows you to be creative in how you fight. The story is also very engaging, and I think it is the best story in the entire series (have yet to play Birth By Sleep). And, it introduces Namine, my favorite character, who is, in my eyes, the most emotionally complex character and a semi-strong female character.

Mine is KH3D because it's the only KH game I've played. Story-wise, Birth by Sleep was the best.

I'd probably have to say KH2 just because it was THE Kingdom Hearts game I was waiting to play. I skipped Chain of Memories to play it, because I only recently started playing the games (I know, sad right?) Anyways... It introduced Roxas and, you know, seeing as he is my favorite character...Kind of a shoe-in. However, KH3D was awesome. Birth By Sleep, however, did have a killer story. I would have to say in list from favorite to least favorite:

    1. KH2
    2.KH3D
    3: KHBBS
    4.KH Re:Coded
5.KH RECOM (I had to use an Action Replay to beat this, sad right?)
6.KH 358/2 Days (Hacked this to beat it, played as DW Roxas for a lot of the story :D)
    7. KH1. I played this just so I could know the story before playing KH2.

I'd have to say Re: Chain of Memories, since it had some of the most memorable fights, as well as being the first game where I could play as Riku and find out what happened to him after KH1.

Isn't there already a thread like this?
Anyway, it's hard to say. My favorite one story-wise would have to be KHII, because of the Organization that alone makes it awesome for me.
Gameplay, would have to be Birth by Sleep, because of the 3 characters and the command deck system and command style system as well.
Then again, KH did start it all and it was fun to play, 358/2 days also had a good story with the Organization and the gameplay was fun in multiplayer, and Re:CoM had a different gameplay style which was kinda fun and the story with Namine and the rest of the Org was interesting too. Where was I going with this? Oh, yeah KHII would be my favorite overall, because of the multitude of worlds, the story was great, and the gameplay was fun.

KH2!!! But I also loved BBS

I love KH2 because it wasn't the first KH game I played, but the one I spent most time in.
I've beaten it over 12 times without it ever getting old.

But the game play in BBS was incredible! The story was really good and Aqua is by far my favorite female role.

Definitely Kingdom Hearts 2. It is the first Kingdom Hearts game I played, even though I should start with 1. However, it was very moving. There was a lot of story and plot development in KH II in another other KH games personally. Having about 2 good hours worth of Gameplay of Roxas was pretty neat. The first two hours of the game was already making story/plot development which is amazing. Plus Organization 13 added a lot of twist and turns. Despite being the first KH game I played, it felt like the best and I think it will remain the best. I guess I'm a little bias since it was first game I was really impress with the Gameplay and different components they added to make the game more fun.

Kingdom Hearts day 358/2 falls behind second as it was my second game since I saw Roxas in Kingdom Hearts 2 beginning and fell in love with the character. Just wanted to learn more about Roxas and play more as Roxas too. Was a pretty fun game too. Though the graphics were not the best, the custscenes were really great and one of my favorite things I got form Day 358 was Sea Salt Ice Cream. Plus I cried a lot because of Xion.

My favorite KH game is 358/2 Days since it explains about Nobodies and what connection Roxas has with Sora. The only game that irritated me was Kingdom Hearts 2 because it confused me a lot with Chain of Memories...

I'd say for me, the best game would have to be BBS. It not only allowed you to play THREE different characters but we got to play a girl too. FINALLYYY. ^W^ It also made you just want to cry and answered alot of questions. We find out who TERRA actually is. We find out why Roxas looks looks like Ven and not Sora. Its just plain cute.

At the same time though, Re: Chain of Memories had, in my opinion, the most beautiful storyline. Granted the gameplay literally made me rip my hair out and I kinda yelled at my PS2 everything things went wrong and cursed in the name of KingdomHearts ... I found it beautiful. It really showed the bond between Sora and Kairi. Like, how even in the darkest situations, Kairi would always be in Sora's heart and I just thought that was plain cute.

So these two games have me split. And to make it worse. I just thought about KH 358/2 Days. This one just made me cry. X.X It was raw perfection and I just can't get over that. Its just soo beautiful.

The first KH. Nothing beats the original for me. There are many variables of why, probably because I was younger back then and really into the Disney side of it plus I was into games more. I'm struggling to show interest in the newer games, hopefully that'll change with KH3.

I haven't played any of the final mixes or days, but out of the ones I have played my favorite would be Birth by Sleep. I loved how the storylines just all came together yet still had their own thing going on and I'm pretty sure Aqua is my favorite KH character at this point. It was nice seeing the keyblade masters as well and getting that backstory.

KH II is my second favorite, as the controls are easiest and actions flow smoothest out of all of them, in my opinion.

Kingdom Hearts II, because of all the limits introduced in it were simply awesome.

At first, I was confused by the storyline when the game started and it wasn't Sora, and this was because, if I recall correctly, I either didn't have a Game Boy Advance back then or I didn't have Chain of Memories. I don't think Re:Chain of Memories had been released yet.

See KH2 Final Mix would have been my fav because of how hard I used my Action Reply when I became less of a mark with it. I mean the amount of codes I have for that game alone thx to this site got me in trouble a lot. I messed up the USB so I had to print out the codes. Parents had to buy Paper for the printer at least like every other week. I went hard with that stuff. I even messed up my Original version of KH2 so when I got the greatest hits version of it things just got serious from there. I love the limits and my all time fav is Trinity when you are Sora alone. And if you had a 3rd party Roxas alone, and just how much fun it is to go NUTS WITH THE CODES!!!!

My fav Kingdom Hearts game though is Birth By Sleep
The moment I heard of the game I went to GameStop everyday until the pre-order possible
What really got to me was the fact you could play as a girl. And I would search Youtube daily for this Aqua game play. Yea Terra and Ventus had some nice teasers, but just seeing how serious Aqua is when she kicks ass is like... I'M GLAD SHE'S ON THIS SQUAD
And I mostly like to play games as girls*Snipped* I wanted to play a Kingdom Hearts Game with a female who can kick more asses than the males can. I could easily relate to Aqua's hardships and trails when she would do what ever it took to help her friends more than I could with Terra and Ventus. Not to say I didn't like their story lines at all, but Aqua is just about that life simple as that. And seeing as how she had the longest story(I believe she did anyway if I'm not mistaken.) made it that much better. Girls getting their just do and more inappropriate camera-*Shot*

Kingdom Hearts 2 had a more interesting, though unnecesarily convoluted, plot line. The original Kingdom Hearts had slightly more interesting battle mechanics, more interesting and creative worlds, more puzzle-centric levels (which is infinitely better than just strolling in and hack anad slashing), slightly less annoying characters and less pointless mini-games as replay content, the bosses were better and more difficult as well and the enemies in general were more inspired as well as harder. In that sense Kingdom Hearts is vastly superior as its story was easily up to scratch with 2's but, something about the voice acting, the colour, the plot, the characters, the Disney-ness appealed to me hugely in Kingdom Hearts 2 and has always been my favourite for some inexplicable reason. Regardless this thread, as well as most of your others 'Neku_Sakuraba', is in the wrong section. This section is basically a wasteland though, which is odd as the rival site KH13's section for theories and such is far more extensive but I prefer this site and its less amount of idiots, which is probably why it is left be.

I'd have to say DDD since most of the characters are starting to reach their potential and it left many surprises and got the plot rolling, but BBS is second for me.

I'm gonna have to go with KH II, it's the first game of the series I ever played. If I hadn't stumbled upon it I probably wouldn't have gotten into the series at all. It's more nostalgia really.

Same reason for me:) Also because it's the first game that I ever bought and played on the PS2.

Com. I actually really like the battle system and story for it and it did so much for a GBA game.
