It could be from your childhood or even just recent as there are adult games as well. There is such a great variety of them and it would be fun to know what we played and why we loved them so much.

Mine as a child would have to be Clue. Of course, I spent most of the time stabbing the characters with the knife. I believe mostly Miss Scarlett.
That or Guess Who. It was such a fun game to figure out who the person was. I failed a lot but still a good time for me.

My favorite game as of now, I suppose it's Life. I just find it rather fun. Though I haven't played it in too long and not many of my family wants to join me in a game.

What about you, KHV? Tell us of your favorite board games.

Clue was my absolute favorite as a child! I liked playing with the weapon pieces and the "cool" envelope XD
Today it would probably have to be any of the Scene it games ^^

I enjoy playing Clue, but my most favorite board game currently is Risk.

I hated board games as a younger kid. I was only into video games. :/

Oh yes, board games lol. Something I should probably do more often lol. When I was young it was probably Candy Land seeing as how it was the only board game my grandmother had XD

As of now, it would probably have to be Monopoly or checkers. I an not sure why lol. I guess Monopoly because its something everybody could play, and checkers because I can't play chess, I don't know how to XD

Heheh...here's where I make myself out to be much older than I really am.

I had quite a few favorites: 13 Dead End Drive, Mouse Trap, Crossfire, and Splat! Splat! was fun because you made your pieces out of clay, and instead of sending everyone back to start, you got to smash them.

Oh my, everyone loves Clue !
Well, most of you. And I do too !

Clue was so much fun and it got my inner CSI going as a kid.
I did also enjoy the board game, Sorry! The Sweet Game of Revenge. That was lots of fun to play with my cousins since I always seemed to have the sorry cards xD
But Monopoly has always had a place in my heart - especially when I got Pokemon Monopoly Gold version. All the properties were Pokemon and the money was Pokemoney. It's the best.

Monopoly. I enjoyed crushing my opponents and making them bankrupt. Though, when playing with family it tended to get a bit..Scary. We all tend to get competitive when playing Monopoly.

I enjoyed monopoly, checkers and scramble were my games as a kid. I was never good at them, but damn did I love to play them. I was always the boat or shoe in monopoly.

Today's board games: Apples to Apples. This game gets so freaking crazy when me and my friends play it's not even right. And then we play some drinking and more adult games.

We actually just discussed this in Sociology, hah.

But my favorites would have to be Scrabble, Clue, and Scattergories. Scrabble I didn't get into until I was a bit older (it's a tough game when your most advanced word is 'dog'), but Clue I would play loads. It's still a fun throwback game for me, as is Scattergories.

Either Monopoly, Clue, or this game called Sorry!
Oh Sorry!, what a wonderful game.
I had a Disney addition of it, with four different teams; Princesses, Heros, Villians and Animals (Pooh, Bambi, Simba and Dumbo).
I spent hours making up stories using all those characters.
Then I chopped up all the Princesses. For no reason.

    I miss that game.

Right now, it's Scrabble, but when I was a little kid, it was Mouse Trap.

Plays tennis like Spassky plays chess

Board games are for the bored. But, there is one board game I like... if only for the overly hyped box, too funny. Observe.

lol, LARiA, that looks like the most garbage board game ever. I don't think that board games are for the bored. My family and I like to play a board game every Sunday.

Currently, we like to play Articulate, which is a great party game.

I also love Scrabble, Monopoly and Chess. When I was kid, I played Mouse Trap and Cluedo. I also owned an embarrassing amount of Pokemon-related board games..

Clue for me as well! 8D Unfortunately I was the only one in my household who liked it enough to want to play it, and with it being a minimum 3-player game, I didn't get to play it all that often. I also really like Sorry!, but we only had it as a PC game, not the actual board game version. So fun, though!

If you consider Crazy 8s/Uno as a board game, then that too.

I also enjoy Clue and Monopoly.

Is Connect Four considered a board game? Well I've played that one a lot along with Candy Land and various other ones a long time ago. Other than that recently I've only played Chess.

I enjoy playing Scrabble on occasion, but I really can't stand playing Monopoly with my family, because they are the biggest cheaters you've ever seen >.>
Otherwise I still enjoy playing Chess.
