I've had friends that watch it but I've either lost contact with them or they've stopped watching it, a lot of people quit after Carrell left.
I haven't scene the one from this week yet either. But yeah, i had a mini freak out at the end of last weeks episode.
THANK YOU I am so upset with Jim, how could he do that to Pam, I understand he's stressed but holy hell, she has been such a goddess through all of this and UGH. I didn't think they could make me dislike Jim but wow. also am I the only one laughing about them basically pushing Andy out of the picture because he was so terrible? lol
I mean, I understand that he would be upset and would be stressed, but to freak out like that was completely unnecessary. Yeah, I don't mind it. I don't like him being the boss anyway so as long as that's his job I don't care if he's not there. I don't like Pete though, and I'm kinda sad that their relationship is probably going to end. Also, apparently there was 2 new episodes last night.
I agree! I mean I understand it, he was directing the anger he felt towards himself for missing the recital at Pam but it's just... how could you be mean to Pam. ;c I'm indifferent to Pete, I don't like or dislike him, but I like him for Erin. I anti-ship Andy and Erin, I gave so few fucks about their subplot and I think it made Andy look like a real *******. They don't suit each other at all. dayum, I got catching up to do Then speak up boy!!
that's basically what i did. i kept watching into the following season, but it got pretty boring. not really because of carrell's leave, but the writing just got really bad.
Yeah, Pam's so nice. I thought Andy and Erin were nice for each other because they were both really weird, but lately they've changed Andy from being weird to being a jerk.
Andy has changed a lot in the entirety of the show, first he was kind of an insane control freak, then he came back and was very lovable, and now he's just kind of... incompetent and dumb? I don't like him anymore at all. The entire situation when he broke up with his girlfriend for Erin and basically left the office for ages soured my opinion of him. I wish Catherine Tate had taken over.
I really didn't like her. I wish California had stayed, he was awesome. Though I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority with that opinion. what did you think of the whole Brian thing at the end of the ep?
I was not a fan of California. Catherine Tate bothered me when they were in Tallahassee, but once she moved to Scranton I began to really love her character. I hate that they're treating her as a new Toby, though--part of what made me hate Andy was he was turning her into his Toby. That was actually really crazy to me but I respond positively to it. Pam has cried several times in the course of the show, only outright sobbed twice that I can think of (including that episode). The first time Dwight came by to comfort her (which is one of my favorite scenes in the history of the show, btw), but it seemed natural to me. These people have spent the last several years of their lives surrounded by this crew, and to see a woman crying like that... I doubt that anyone with any sort of a relationship with her could just stand there and watch. I'm actually starting to think that Pam might be the main character of this show.
To be fair, I like her better in this season, but last season she seemed kind of obnoxious. I find the whole thing to be very implausible. It's hard to believe that these people would just now be getting involved with the lives of the people they are recording. I would say more, but I don't want to spoil the two new episodes for you.
