Kingdom Hearts II Whats so Important about Sora's keyblade?

I don't get it how come his keyblade is 'the' keybade while everybody elses are not as important when they can probibly do the same thing.

 

Well everyone's is important, but Sora is the only one to broadcast it.

Kairi had hers for all of two minutes.

Riku was being emo and hiding in the darkness.

Mickey was constantly vanishing.

Sora on the other hand travels around with a Duck and a Dog helping people. Of course they see the keyblade and do the "Ooo! ahhh! Shiny..." act.

 

Cuz Sora is the hore of the story, of course his is the most important!

It wasn't so much that his keyblade was special, it was that Sora was special. He was the one who would open the Door to the Light.

Plus, the game is all about him. They have to make him cool and special and using the keyblade a lot since all the other keyblade masters had better things to do than travel the worlds and goof off like Sora did.

 

Well...he is the main character...I doubt that says anything about his weapon but isnt his keyblade one out of 3 important ones? (Mickey's key and Riku's key)? We saw them in the trailer for bbs...

 

He's impotrtant because he's the main character...as everyone else keeps saying I know​

Maybe all characters are special, but we dont know that..yet...

The only reason that Sora's keyblade was special, was because you followed the story through Sora's eyes, since he was the main character. To a random stranger, all of the Keyblades would seem equally special.

 

I believe it is because he uses it the most, and he's the main character.

And also, it's basically his responsibility to go around keeping balance in the worlds.
I mean do you see anyone else hoppin on a ship from world to world?​

 

Not to mention Sora always introduces himself. In the Land of Dragons, Riku came and went without telling anyone anything about himself.

Sora on the other hand is conspicuous. He introduces himself at first opportunity and jumps in to help anyone.


I have another reason though. Sora got his first. In KH1, his was "The Keyblade". Sure, Mickey got his one, but he was wallowing in darkness for some reason.

For ages, Sora was the only one with a Keyblade. Mickey was too busy to get involved, and Riku was with Soul Eater.

I don't think most of you understood the question, i wasn't asking about why Sora is important i was asking why his keyblade is all like the ultimate weapon when theres another keyblade of probibly the adsact same power. and besides i think i understand it now XD.

 

well, i dont think his keyblade was that important

but he was the only one (except mickey)who had one in the first game(soul eater doesnt count)

with a usable keyblade.

but , then i kh2.

they gave keyblades to everyone, and messed everything up.

sora wasnt even the keyblade's chosen.

but, everyone else just had keyblades.

 

Actually it's because his Keyblade is the 'Keyblade of the Realm of Light'. Like it is given to the one chosen to weild the power of Light.
