Me? Most likely would've booted him in the face and grabbed the other guy out of the elevator. Any further attacks would've been easier to defend in a larger room.

Though I expect more from my fellow humans, especially from what I've seen since starting to take the train to Uni. More people help in situations than I thought they would.

Ugh, people are not taught right. Women particularly should not be this meek around violence. Then again I know what a few girls would've done in this situation. Depends on the country as well, I've seen things like this in Britain with a few more wallops at the attacker by people.

I would probably act like the guy with the couch and call 911 when I got away.

I like the guy who just stands their and watches, hilarious but disturbing.

Wow I'm surprised how many people just kind of stood there. I'd shout and shove the murderer off and pull the guy behind me. Surprised not more of them did that.

Speaking as a ~120lb female, there might not be a lot that I would think I could do. Then again, kicking the guy in the face seems like a pretty easy option...

Also I'm afraid of elevators for reasons just like this, being trapped in a tiny little box, lord knows what could happen...

Wow, this was a real eye-opener. Me, if I could manage to keep my wits about me, I'd probably dial 911, then put the phone down and do what I could while the police listen in and then hopefully show up. I wouldn't be able to do much, but any time bought is good enough for me.

On a slightly less serious scale with a message relatively similar, which a lot more people would find harder to walk away from, what would you do if you saw this?

So many people with the "finders keepers" mentality. I would've woken the guy up and told him about it. XD

As for the original topic...I'd like to think I'd jump in but I can't pretend to be so courageous(or stupid?) when I've never been in that position.

Wow, kudos the the people that at least tried something, and that doesn't count blowing a fire extinguisher either. But I'm just amazed at all of the people that just stood there and walked away. The last part was my personal favorite, where the guy just stood there and took a picture........I would not put my life in his hands.

Now me, I'd probably just try to get the guy off buy either kicking the strangler in the balls, since I'm a dirty, cheating-ok, if you saw Spoony's Ultima reviews you know the line, but to be kind on here, I'm not saying that last word. But I probably wouldn't just stand there.....unless he had a gun, then I'm not so sure.

True, I would like to point out that for all I know, I might just scream and run away, and call 911 at a considerable distance. I'd like to think that I'd do what I could, but unless faced with the actual situation, I simply wouldn't be able to tell.

He might have figured out it was a joke. We can' t see if they glitched their act or if someone spilled the beans to him, but either way the fact that the attacker doesn' t pay any attention to a witness barging in is super suspicious. I probably would have froze for a few seconds then kicked his face in panic long before my brain gets there though ...

That's what I mean, many people are taught that purely height, weight and physical overpowering is the way to win a fight, when I've seen clips of eleven year olds using martial arts to kick the **** out of those bigger and who don't know how to use it. All about how you fight not whom.

I'm more the 'crashing to my doom' mentality....

The last guy who stood there an took a picture...good job.

Anyway, I'd probably try to kick the crap out of the guy! I don't care if I'm small compared to him, I'd kick his ass!

I like how everyone says they'd help, but whether or not they help depends on their flight or fight human instinct, and none of you will really know what you'd do unless in the situation.

I'd take the sofa into the lift anyway.

I jest, I don't know because I haven't been in that situation. I know how guilty I'd feel if I walked away but I can't know how I would react.

The last one with the guy pulling out his cell is fake thank god. He's the actor that was fake strangling the guy. The one doing the strangling in that part is some different dude.
