What was the game that got you into gaming?

I can't quite remember what game it was but i think it was either Sonic on the Mega Drive, Secret of Mana or Zelda on the SNES. I had played other games on the older machines but those are the games that started me off.

 

oh man....that's a LONG time ago. Maybe it was a mario game for me. BUT I know that the game was on the SNES

ahhh I really don't remember.
I think it's either one of the first Final Fantasies or Mario.

 

Crash Bandicoot 3:Warped. Before I played this game, I only played video games for a few minutes. But when I got this game, I started playing games for hours.

 

I can't remember... the first game I remember playing was Super Mario all stars on SNES (cause that was the first console I ever got... my dad bought it...we had never even asked for it so he's to blameXD)
Later my uncle got a PS1 and even though it wasn't ours, me and my brother started buying games for it and borrowed it for years at a timeXD
Though I also played one if my uncle's games a lot, a car game called Auto Destruct... I've never been into car-games but I still enjoy the ones where you can drive around and shoot people (though I didn't often bother with the missions. It was a lot more fun driving randomly around in the city or even better: inside the mall with the car:D And hurray for killing innocents!)
You may call me crazy if you want to:D I'm ruthless towards game characters.

So I guess Super Mario started it... though Auto Destruct was a lot of fun:D

 

The game that made me LOVE video games was Final Fantasy VII.

Oddly enough, Pokemon Yellow. That was the first video game I ever had.​

 

Mario Kart 64. My uncle introduced me to video games.

 

It was either FFX, KH, or KH2. XD

 

Super Mario Bros for NES I used to play when I was 5. xD

 

I'd say the games that really got me into it were either OoT or Thrill Kill..

Probably TK, thanks to my big sisters B/F XD I think he corrupted me.

 

It was Pokemon Yellow, for me.

 

The game that first got me into gaming was Super Mario Bros 3. I used to play that all the time. It slowly got me into gaming, from there I got a SNES and played games such as Bomber Man, Donkey Kong Country, and LoZ: ALttP. Then I remember getting a 64. There were only a few games for it I actually played(LoZ:OoT, LoZ:MM, Mario 64 and Shadows of the Empire), the rest were my brothers crpapy games. Then I got a PS1, only played crash and spyro on there, the rest wereo nce again my brothers. Then the game that really got me into the gamer I am today, Jak and Daxter. Once I got that I experimented with alot of other games and it just took off from there...

 

Super Mario 64, first game I got and still love it :D

 

Yeah it was Mario 64 here to I remember my sister buying the console and my mom and dad thought it was to expensive and they bought it from her......:D

Aw man, I *grew up* with videogames! XD As dorky as that may sound, it's the truth. So it's kinda hard to say which game exactly got me into gaming.

But as one of my first games, I really really REALLY liked Earth Worm Jim. And still do!
