Kingdom Hearts II what was riku...doing?

Riku said in kh2 that he "didnt want to be found" even though Sora was looking for him...so what did he do? sit in a corner and stare at the wall all day? This is just randomness I guess, I have no real theories that can come from this...

 

for the 'i didn't want to be found' thing,could be becasue that he had to give in to the darkness and hee thought that sora wouldn't understand.and for what he was doing,he was probpaly fighting heartless and nobodys trying to make it easier for sora to do his job.

 

I took it as He didnt want Sora to find him while he looked like Ansem. As for what he was doing, I think he was trying to infiltrate the organization so that he could help Sora secretly from the inside

 

He didn't want Sora to find him because Riku was ashamed of his appearance, even though it ahd to be that way.

And he didn't do nothing. He was watching over Sora and the Organization secretly. Giving Sora clues and making his journey easier.

 

Because we all know Riku is the brains behind Sora...

 

Riku didn't just sit around. He helped Sora in Radiant Gardens, also giving him clues about Roxas, and was moving things along in LoD etc. He also saved Kairi from Axel the first time. He did a lot of things in the background though you have to look for some of them because it's so subtly hinted at.

However, when Riku had to change to Ansem (Xehanort's Heartless) he found himself rather stuck so no, he didn't want to really be found like that. Also, he felt guilt over what he had done and hoped for forgiveness but what he did for Sora and Kairi wasn't to make them forgive him. It was to help make sure his friends would be okay and they could return home. He really at that point wasn't sure what his own fate would be.

 

i think it would be cool though if, after beating 358 days, there would a Reverse Rebirth 2 and you could play as riku during the time sora was on his adventures and go on missions and stuff.

I know exatcly what was going on, DiZ, Aka Ansem the Wise, and Riku worked together to destory Organization XIII, and help Sora be reborn by restoring Roxas' memories. However, Axel refuses to let that happen because Roxas, his best friend, will disappear. So Riku spent all the time hiding from Sora to help Roxas restore his memories, and keep Axel and other Org. XIII members AWAY from Sora while keeping hidden, at least until he looked like his formal self.

 

Well, I'm guessing he hid from Sora because he was ashamed that he had succumbed to darkness and took the form of Ansem. In the meantime, he hung around DiZ and then helped Sora as best as he could. I can't remember if he realized how much Sora wanted to find him or if he ever regretted hiding himself from Sora, though.

I like to pretend he was somewhere calm and peacful, picking flowers and caring for small children in a village in some other world...
But, he was stalking Sora and leaving around stuff to make Sora's journey easier...BORRR-INNGG...

 

He was locating information about the org, along with Mickey. Unlike Sora, they had qualms about heartlessly slaughtering the org, and instead chose to gather some information about the org, before diving in blindly like Sora.

He was happy to help Sora out, because Sora was his friend.

{Light}ning Ambition - So do I but it does not seem that this was in the plans and 358/2 Days probably does not have a second game like Reverse Rebirth. It seems the game Coded may be stalled so it's almost too bad they don't do something like that now. I really don't know why (Other than he admits he was drunk at the time) Nomura decided to have the game about Riku and Mickey's exploits and other back things on the cell phone and not the DS or PSP (or heck, both).

Also, I think he just really didn't want Sora worrying about his state, appearance, and condition. I mean, he DID harness darkness to a new degree remember?​

we can all be wishful thinkers...you know, in every post I've seen of you talking about coded you always remember to point out that Nomura was drunk at the time of thinking about it. XD

I must say though that there are a lot of loose ends...if he didnt do something like for Riku.
